I.m from Lochee Dundee went to Celtic Park for a cup game. Sean Maloney scored a cracker against the huns..i was going through chemo. A pal of mine came in to Bairds bar. Jimmy Blackwood. I couldn't get to bar. All I got was that's on house son. Magic People HAIL Hail. Hail x
I'm just watching this video and it's bringing back great memories , I'm 70 and the best game I seen JJ play was against red star never ever seen a PRO play like that anywhere and control a game of that importance, brilliant player and a wee mention for tony McBride another great just took the wrong turn what a player he was hail hail
i shed a few tears 9f sadness and a few tears of joy watching this again and i miss the bhoys but i believe there always here and there always there on match day cheering the bhoys on HH YNWA
I was born a kick ass from parkheed, and what I see now is the great Glasgow humour ,footballers like these men do not exist today, working men from working class family's who were brought up with nothing, or very little, Jimmy was and still is a Legend
Great watching these from time to time! And bet ya it wasn't the first time that Jinky and Bertie where last of the Lions at the bar! Always get the same mixed feeling when I see Jinky,Utter Legend! And at the time of his death I had really just started working in Celtic park in the corporate hospitality bars and lounges, lasted over 7 years but at that time I was in Lanzarote for the funeral and the cup final! Will always remember it! Never be another team like the 🍀Lisbon lions🍀and one foot note,a bar such as "Bairds" with its history should have never been shut down!!
Our legends. Story’s be passed down from generation to generation. God bless you guy’s an every person who helped out in your career. Your OUR inspiration an our legends forever an ever
I DETEST FOLK WHO MURDER SONGS LIKE THIS, HES NOT EVEN SINGING THE RIGHT WORDS. AW WHAT AN AWFUL SINGER.I CANT LISTEN TO SUCH A LOVELY SONG BEING MURDERED LIKE THAT.i mean what Celtic fan dosent know "hail hail " word by word?, well this one," & the cheers go up" nooooo, it's " & it cheers us up" to me thats a crime.almost as bad as a player taking his shirt off to celebrate,
Listening to Jinky sing at the end almost had me greetin like a wee lassie, GBJJ 👏💚🍀
as a lifelong hibs fan I have to say Jimmy Johnstone was one of the greatest football players I ever saw. He had the ball on a string. Mesmerising.
