I live near Baltimore Maryland and last summer I went to a concert on the Tennessee North Carolina border. The biggest difference between where I live and there is that almost no one was broadcasting their mental illness through their fashion/hair/piercings/tattoos. It was going from the land of the freaks back to earth again.

I lived in Memphis for about 2 years and loved it! So beautiful over there. Unfortunately I'm back on the west coast for now but luckily in a red county so it's still way better than being up in Portland where I'm originally from
Seriously?🤣 I live in Memphis and it is horrible. It's one of the most if not the most dangerous city in the nation and once was nominated as the most miserable place to live. I cant even go out once the sun goes down its downright dangerous. Constantly hearing gunshots and sirens. Constantly being intimidated by hateful patrons just going to the grocery store. My car has been stolen never found, then had all 4 tires slashed, and just this past month guy brakes into my son's car and when we hollered at him he didnt flinch, he knew hed get away with it. I couldn't enjoy recreation with my child raising him because everything was always ruined with some type of delinquent behavior going on and my son being bullied. His schools he went to were horrible but were supposed to be better than anything else in memphis. It's been absolutely miserable but I've been stuck and I've actually been lucky to live in East Memphis which is supposed to be the better part. I wish Michael had moved to Knoxville, I'm not so sure Nashville isnt on it's way to being another Memphis BUT if they have the right leadership anything can be preserved and Michael needs the big city limelight so that's the next best big city hes gonna find. I'm still waiting for dust to settle and when my parents are gone I dont know where I'll go but I suspect Knoxville would be my first choice.

North Carolina is very nice in my opinion. I don’t think I’d be happier anywhere else. Just a simple place i’d recommend living in. None of that flashy New York stuff unless you’re in Charlotte. I’ve particularly loved the community of VFW veterans i’ve known since I was a child, they foster a real spirit of resilience and discipline.
I was born and raised in rochester, NY which culturally speaking is kinda more purple despite being in a blue state (idk how it is now almost five years later). now I live in FL a red state but the city I live in, Orlando, is very blue sadly.

Never have truer words ever been spoken. I live in Commiforia and our economy has to be the worst in the Country. When I first came here in 1980 it was a 60% -40% Republican State, seriously their were so many construction projects on every corner up until 2009, their were still projects but the materials cost were low. Then when President Donald Trump was legally elected, things turned around it was booming. Since Joe Bindumb has been faking it, now their are few construction projects, but materials are at their highest, if you can’t even buy them everything out of stock. I just recently was in Orlando and it reminded me of California when I first arrived here in 1980, I mean there was construction projects on every corner literally. All the way up to Tampa the scenery never changed, projects and cranes everywhere, even the longest freeway’s are being widen work crews along the 95 interstate. I live in Washington in the seattle area. I don't want to leave Washington because the cascades are awesome, and most of Washington state is actually pretty red anyway. However, basically all of king county is blue, and that makes the whole state blue because everyone lives in seattle. Living in eastern Washington would be better. Or maybe Idaho.
If I was a teenager with a limited attention span, then I might like this 'Short' format. But, then again I would probably turn to Tic Tok NOT TH-cam. However, since I am an adult with a Normal attention span I tend to avoid Tic Tok. That church and “Christian” school accused my brother of dealing drugs and being associated with a known drug dealer and they kicked him out of the school!!! After my family and I went to try to straighten things out, I never darken their doors again!!! Found out later that the Pastors oldest daughter was banging her boyfriend in the main auditorium at 3am and was caught, the Principal of the school(I also graduated from that school) was caught banging his secretary in their office, I’ve washed my hands of that whole mess and I’ll never be seen at that property ever again!!! However; I still attend church from time to time, but I received a lot of the same treatment you describe from these people!!! I’m personally in a fight with God Himself for my own reasons; we rarely talk!
