I recall wailing like this at my previous church and my pastor’s wife came over and comforted and prayed with me. No one knew I was going through and God used that moment to allow me to release. Nobody was mad, the members didn’t walk out. I needed that and they allowed the time for it. I will never forget that!
Maybe he should’ve had someone comfort her and gently take her off stage to pray with her and give her extra attention. Clearly shes going through something and needed that

It’s wild and bizarre. I could see if it was during the sermon (it still wouldn’t be right but I would understand) BUT this was during the worship portion of the service so what’s the real issue??? Whether she was seeking attention, not genuine OR if she was genuine and crying out to God (for whatever reasons) is NOT his place to stop her like that. He could have called her to the front for prayer if he was truly concerned Also she’s in the choir so he know who she is, he could invite her to a meeting and ask what is going on in her life. Cause if she screams every week like folks say she do, he would've had a private conversation with her about it. You don't stop service to call out someone for something they've been doing all along. That lady needs compassion, prayer, deliverance & healing & she's supposed to be in a place that gives her all of it. As a preacher's daughter, this grieves my heart badly. I had a moment like this during a dark time last year. My son brought me to the altar and my Pastor's wife came and prayed for me!!! She also helped me through out the next few weeks to make sure I was restored from that....❤❤
I could hear the pain, hurt, and anguish in that woman's cry. I don't know what that lady is going through but I pray God heal her mind, body, and spirit. I wish Pastor Keion Henderson would have prayed for her or instructed some women prayer warriors to pray for her. I will definitely keep her in my prayers.
She could've been crying out to God for whatever reason. I have in praise thanking Jesus for keeping my mother during her heart attack. He was out of line.

We can not read minds or know what is in a person's heart, but as followers of Christ we need to show Christ's love to each other. Is it possible she also was trying to get attention? Maybe, but that was not the time or place to try and rebuke her. We need to give each either other the benefit of the doubt, and show compassion. We can be more cold and judgemental towards others more than the "World" we are suppose to be ministering too. Sometimes the pain you have been holding on too will suddenly come out. I have seen this happen to a family member of mind. He had been caring for their loved one who was dying of a rare cancer. This cancer would created large open painful wounds as one of the many very debilitating symptoms. Everyday was a difficult challenge with bandage changes that took over an hour to do, and many other very stressful issues. The last few months of their life this person was basically 100% disabled and relied complete on other's for everything. Most of that load went to my relative, and they become ill physically due to everything going on. We were together one evening and then suddenly they started yelling and crying uncontrollably. They had been holding everything in for over a year at this point, and the pain just needed to come out. We came around him and prayed together until the episode pasted. This person is a very quiet and tough person, as well as a Christian brother, but that moment he needed release some of the pain. We need to start acting like Brother's and Sisters' in Christ and not just call each other "Brother" or "Sister". I pray that the Lord comforts this women and answers her need.

Never seen a Celebrity pastor walk up to a gang member on the street, snap his finger, tell him to hush, so he can preach the gospel. Never seen a Celebrity pastor go to a person with turrets, who can't control their outburst and "call the spirit off of them". Their spirit powers only work in controlled environments. Why we won't at least be humble.

Do we know 100% that perhaps the Pastor was or not discerning what happening with the woman who was screaming. We don’t know. This Pastor will be held accountable for the souls in the church.

I’ve been there where I’m still in an overflow of the spirit but the God of order helps me to make my way downstairs or out to the front foyer area. If some of the people read their Bible they’d know who is the author of confusion and that God is a God of authority he commands that you obey those who are above you whether in church, government or otherwise. I don’t know the situation so I won’t judge. I just know what I know from the word of God.

I read some comments from people who go to his church and they said that she does it every weekend. If it has been disrupting services, he should have spoken to her after the first few incidents… not in front of the whole crowd.
@@ElAyehe and his wife did an interview with Tamara Hall and he said she had been spoken to several times. Something I noticed with a lot of comments is they don’t know worship from a disturbance. Demons inside of people speak out in church as well. I’m not saying the young woman had a demon speaking because I was not there, but the Pastor and other members were.

Sir you nailed it! This has so disturbed me to the point of sadness. It was obvious this young lady was hurting and could have been on the brink of something. He doesn’t know how his actions will affect her. Trust and believe he will be held accountable.

Thank for mention this. I am from the old school. I remember as a child in church, watching how the old Holy Ghost filled mother and elder in the church work. There were people coming in the church on their knee praying, even before the church open up. The pastor would tell them not come in here gossiping. When I look at that young lady I could tell she was in need of a strong deliverance. If she do that every Sunday, where was the deliverance room. Back in the day they would have taken you in the back, even kept you after church until you was deliver. True story. There was a minister in our church that was deliver from drug, and every Sunday he would take off running. Well, another minister went to the Pastor and told him she was offended by him running, and it did not take all that. It hurt him so, that he told me the pastor told him to stop running because it offended someone. Well the next Sunday God dealt with those two pastors. Heavenly Father said, "watch me." He told that pastor, "You don't tell no one how to praise me." Those two pastor dance up and down that pulpit. After God got through with them, they had to repent to that minister. The pastor told him in front of the church, "you can dance and run all you want." There is so many female are dealing with devil and different spirt in their household, that the church is the only place of release. Time for the real shepherd to lead God sheep.
I’ve been in the atmosphere where the spirit of God is moving and cannot contain your emotions when it’s True Worship. The bible says those that worship me, let them worship Me In Spirit and In Truth!!!!! I don’t agree with how he handled this situation and I’m offended by it as well. Where in the Bible has been attributed to the Holy Spirit. Y'all call the Holy Spirit anything now. Black Women do this every Sunday in a lot of churches and it seems like catching this Spirit only happens in church around a lot of people.
He behaved wrongfully, both as a Pastor and as a man. It doesn't matter what he thought he was dealing with or not. He could have turned off the mics in the choir stand, or gone over to her, turned off his mic, and started praying for her. He has been in this role for too long to embarrass someone like that. I feel sympathy for this young woman. It is awful to be humiliated like this. This is one of the reasons the world wonders why bother with church. How would he feel if someone treated his wife, sister, daughter, or someone he loves this way? We as Christians have to do better and stop justifying bad actions. People who say that it's his church, it's not his church (unless he pays the monthly mortgage or paid it off by himself). The ministry might have been named by him but the church is God and the people.
Sometimes when you’re in the spirit it can be very difficult to not shout. It’s happened to me. I listened to a song or a message from the pastor and it hit me a certain way and I stood up and raised my hands to GOD and cried because I was trying to be strong and not shout. She needed to express herself but he wanted all the attention to himself.

I had a friend who expressed herself in the same manner … and the next day she was shot in the head at the bus stop in front of her children … so do we know what is going on … I will always think in my heart she was in the midst of personal war fare because the perpetrator was in church with us and the father of her children …
That's true...ppl can be sensitive to things around them in the spirit but can't define it...also because too many churches are putting on a show they have no idea what demons roam among them... demons are not scared of noise and entertainment as they are in hollyweird everyday
It was satan who was trying to shut the pastor down. The pastor is in charge and when he ask the congregation to participate in a time of quiet praise. The congregation needs to follow the pastors lead. No one else can focus on the Holy Spirit when there’s that type of loud screaming around them. It definitely was not coming from God. The lady may not know it.. but she is on assignment from satan to keep disrupting the church service every week. She needs to recognize when what she is doing is not of God. If see cannot stop herself, then she needs to seek counseling and individual prayer. All of our struggles are not for the whole congregation. ❤️

He is not out of line! If he is the shepherd of that house.. it’s his job to keep things in order and to make sure the sheep know how to follow instructions.. He asked for everyone to get quiet and she started screaming out. For me I would question it, if he didn’t step up and address it, especially since she does it frequently. She is not in that sanctuary by herself. It’s disrespectful and rude to all of the others for one person to behave like that. ❤

Was it her human spirit, Holy Spirit , unclean spirit. I guess Corey forgot about the verses that say God is not the author of confusion and Let all things be done decently and in order. Just like the woman who had a spirit of divination. She was seemingly sounding accurate and saying the "right " thing, however it was the wrong source. The only thing I would have done differently is silence the spirt in operation and cast it out like the Apostle Paul did after his spirit was aggravated. That's why deliverance and inner healing is needed. We can't counsel out a demon. I digress

I was thinking the same thing. Usually when the Holy Spirit has quietened everyone like that, a word/prophecy is about to come through. In THAT kind of set up, intense hollering is usually a distraction. Hollering / wailing usually appears to be genuine when the spirit has moved everyone to speak in tongues and many are also crying out too.
I agree that he likely handled this inappropriately. He should have asked a mother of the church to maybe comfort her and if needed usher her out of the sanctuary to see if she needed prayer or counseling. However, we also have to realize there are individuals that seek these kind of quiet moments to draw attention to themselves. A church I once attended; one woman would wait until the announcer would get up and like clockwork she’s all of a sudden in the spirit. That kind of emotional outburst especially if it’s done repeatedly by the same person needs to be dealt with.
So, people never busted out in praise or weeping after an encounter with God? I don't know why we must always put down people who have an emotional response to the Lord. Smh, as if people who had encounters with Jesus in the bible just would walk away completely silent,straight faced, and tight-lipped,got it👍🏾
Whereas I don’t agree with what was done and how it was done, I, personally, would not take it as far as to say that Pastor Henderson is ungodly and does not know the scriptures. He has not said/done anything against the scriptures that I can recall since I’ve followed him. I’m no Bible scholar but I do have discernment between true and false doctrine. I want to believe this incident was a lapse in judgment rather than discredit his entire ministry.
I know that cry. I've had that cry. That woman was coming out of something she was going through. And what better place to call on God than in His house? When the Holy Spirit moves, it is not always "prim and proper". I disliked everything about the pastor's response because he and his ego got in the way.

Whats killing me is someone commenting "she does this all the time"...Ok and. Some ppl are deep when they worship all the time. I knew a lady who would scream like that but she survived being shot by an ex boyfriend. She got married and had a son in our church. Nobody ever was offended by anyones wailing ever in church. Shame on him . Praise is never out of order during worship unless its dancing on chairs or crazy stuff.

At my former church thete was a lady that joined and every Sunday she wouldcry out. It annoyed people, but the more she grew in the word of God she cried outeven more. Then Sunday School she told her story and we knew why then why she reacted to the word of God. We all have a story, we all are going through something, all on different levels. I have great love and respect for that lady at my former church. Great teacher of the word and Hid is using her mightily. This lady here needs prayer for her deliverance. To be set free.

Amen! The things of God must be done decently and in order. If the pastor ask everyone to get quiet… the Holy Spirit is not directing this one person to yell out over the pastors voice. She was being used by the devil. How can I focus on my quiet praise and worship if the person next to me is just screaming out. That’s not edifying the whole church. I don’t understand folk saying the pastor is out of line. Honestly, he and she both would've been on my nerves. These performers are totally okay with the congregants going off when they initiate it, and it is at that point that they call it a move of God.
For all those saying she does this every Sunday…that may be true; however consider that this very moment could have been the breakthrough she did not receive in those 4 years. Consider the possibility that she kept doing whatever it was that prevented her release for 4 years and this moment was her major breakthrough. When I heard her, I heard a woman travailing, I heard pain and anguish and a desire for release. Even after he told her to hush, she continued to wail… she didn’t go silent. He only minimized her wailing, but did not release it.
She sounds like she is worshipping and praising the Lord in an outward manner that includes crying out. Him (Their Pastor) stopping in the middle of supposed to be worship and praise to tell her to stop was out of order. You never know what someone is going through. There is a saying you don’t know my story. He doesn't know what God has done for her. She has a lot to be grateful for. 🙏🏾😢❤ He should have been afraid to interrupt anyone spiritual praise moment. I have wailed in church under tremendous pressure. You don't know what we go through. I'm a pastors wife, I've been through so much. I go to church, because I want to be lifted.
As a pastor's wife you should know the following: While being uplifted can be, and most often is a side benefit of going to church, the sole reason we are supposed to be there is to worship and honor the one, true, thrice-holy God. According to scripture, we are not there for our own edification or to have our own needs met, but to worship and glorify Him -- in an orderly fashion (1 Corinthians 14:26-40).

Oh I agree. The issue is, if you have previously allowed it, then to come back and rebuke someone for what is okay when others are speaking is problematic. Clearly order in the church isn't the norm.

Carnal or not there needs to be order in the Church as Paul teaches in Corinthians. Too much nonsense from fake tongues, falling out & other silly behaviour is blamed on the Holy Spirit.
I’m a pure worshipper and I’ve been through so much with pastors and leaders that I need counseling to get back in track. Finding a church home is tough for me.

Is it necessary to make that much noise? Some stuff is annoying and distracting to other people, not just the pastor. If it's not deliverance service what exactly is going on? The worst part is right after church people like this are usually smoking in the church parking lot. Or they're in a restaurant disrespecting a waitress over napkins and ketchup. I'm telling you what I've seen. Don't be deceived. You need to watch these folks after service to see what spirit they operate in. All of that noise and drama might be for entertainment purposes only.
One of the problems in the Church is, you have many PASTORS and leaders of the Church, who scold and shame the Church at times for being too quiet, stoic, even unemotional and they tell their congregations, the reason for that is because many of the members are too dignified, self-prideful, not filled with the Holy Spirit, not thankful enough, not grateful unto God enough etc. Then when members of their congregations are expressive, emotional or overwhelmed in the Spirit, now the leaders act as if their PERFECT discernment of what TRUE, AUTHENTIC, SINCERE, GENUINE worship is or the WAY they think it SHOULD BE ENTITLES THEM TO DICTACT THE ATMOSPHERE AND REBUKE OPENLY ANYONE WHO THEY FEEL IS OUT OF ORDER IN THEIR WORSHIP. In this age of social media, PASTORS and leaders MUST REALIZE the impact and effects this kind of open correction, in this case open REBUKE can have on a child of God, for this kind of REBUKE can be and is extremely embarrassing and humiliating to a child of God, especially a member of the same Church who may have family members there and of course the whole world now knows who you are in a extremely awkward, uncomfortable , yo say the least way. For any Pastor or leader to respond that way with millions watching show very SELFISH AND PRIDEFUL JUDGEMENT ON THEIR PART. Now this wonderful Christmas lady may be inhibited to express and release herself to the Spirit and quench the Spirit within herself for fear of open REBUKE in the future and not only so but now even other members of Pastor Keion's own congregation may now reman inhibited and quech the Spirit, in the future, for fear that they might not be worshipping the WAY HE THINKS IS FITTING. Pastor Keion now needs to have a private conversation with this member and find our what he most likely does NOT know and that is WHY this young lady is so overwhelmed in her worship and expressive and thankful. Truth is, he and we don't know what she is going through or has gone through or what God has brought her out of or delivered her from in her life. Maybe when he finds this out he will discover that his open REBUKE of her needs to be openly REBUKED before the congregation with his own mouth..AMEN..SELAH!
If she does this every Sunday, I'm thinking that GOD intervened through the Pastor and led him accordingly to call her out and hopefully call that spirit out.
I’ve seen this video on another platform and people were saying she does this EVERY Sunday. If that is true he handled it the way he should have. I been in church my entire life and I’ve seen and heard a lot. Give people a stage and they will perform!
I’ve seen other post saying the same thing. There has to a line to be drawn when members reactions are never ending. I went to an extremely charismatic church, and there were a few members that was undetermined whether it was spirit or mental illness. Ultimately, he could have directed someone to escort her off the stage and took her to another area.

That’s confusion and God is not the author of confusion. The pastor asked everyone to get quiet for a quiet praise and she continued to scream. Unless someone can find me a scripture IN CORRECT CONTEXT that supports his actions, OR she publicly admits that he warned her that he would do this the next time she acted this way, this will never sit right with me.

The spirit of God don't hurt people say that this woman would have took her life than what. You are totally correct. . . There is a way to discreetly calm someone who is overcome with emotion..Had he calmly walked toward her with a spirit of compassion and including her into the worship with words of affirmation and fazed his song out, no one would’ve been the wiser to his obvious annoyance. He was clearly annoyed and his “tongues” were not of the Holy Ghost.
IMO, I believe Pastor Henderson was in order this time. He basically addressed acting & attention seeking. Sounds like she's competing with him. Interestingly when he said silence & the motion immediately stopped 🤔 obliviously, the Pastor is familiar with this person's weekly behavior. ijs
I agree! Personal yelling and screaming and crying out to God, should be done between you and God in your own personal space just like Jesus said, go into a closet! Others are not coming to church to hear you scream over the pastors voice. ❤
People call themselves Christians so quickly jumps on the hater wagon without truly knowing the full truth (the reason why he told her to hush.). People in the choir probably been complaining for a while, because she does this every Sunday. Usually people know the ones who screams and holla about every Sunday, and some of the people of the congregation choose not to sit next to them, because it’s usually the same ones. When you’re in a choir you really don’t have a Choice. More than a few comments sounds like hatred against pastor rather he told her to hush or not. O my God. He is going to pay for that, trust. This lady was crying out to the lord and he told her to hush. These self appointed pastor are getting more out of control. They think its all fun and games now. But the lord will surely deal with them.
So many people are posting this clip. For this one.. I think Pastor Henderson was right! My thoughts are that she probably does it all the time and she’s probably been asked to stop before. I find it very disruptive when a person begins hollering out during a quiet praise time. The things of God are to be done decently and in order. I just sense this is something habitual with this person and that’s why he approached her in that manner. I was a member of a church with a lady who did that every chance she got. If you told anyone you went to that church.. they would say is that lady who yells still there?! Or is that the church with the lady who yells. The church gathering for praise and worship is for everyone who attends not just one person. You cannot focus on your own praise and worship when people are going off like that. It’s a group setting. If you need to let loose like that… That kind of praise and calling on God is private between you and God. Best to do that at home where you have the freedom to yell and cry out to God as loud as you want, for as long as you want. That way you’re not disturbing others who are praying and praising.❤
Based on a lot of other post on Ytube. This lady does this regularly. Disturbing the order of the worship, and she has been asked, not to do that. Some say nobody knows what she’s going through. Well, she doesn’t know what everybody else in the church is going through. I certainly don’t want to hear one person yelling out over every one else. There are times when the pastor tells everyone to get up clap your hands and give the lord a shout, there are times when the service is opened up for shouting and dancing. This time the pastor was asking for quiet and she wouldn’t stop. He usually is very lenient during praise and worship time at his church. But, you must follow the pastors lead. If he says I need everyone quiet at this moment. He does have that right! I appreciate the pastor stepping in when someone is out of order and it’s the same person all the time. ❤
A seasoned pastor is supposed to be so empowered with God that if what folk are saying is true..HE should've called on compassionately and diligently called on God enough by now..to help her..discern what's really happening and gain control over every unruly spirit. "It" or "they" should've become subject to the Holy Spirit now. GOD is not a 4 years and counting type deliverance God.. "He spoke and it stood still"..and He didn't speak for years. The issue here..allegedly..is the member who travails "every Sunday" for years..and the "pastor" chooses to rebuke and bring even more attention to this soul who desperately needs release..one way or the other..not humiliated. When you TRULY labor with someone inwardly grieved or troubled like this..and lovingly lead them to their "be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea" moment..true worship breaks forth powerfully..all eyes on GOD'S glory. God can't be pleased with a 4 year occupancy where the anointing ..allegedly..dwells. Those folk don't need singing..they need intense prayer and leadership that's equipped to provide it.. where they can feel safe🤯..not entertained.🙈🙉✌️
I have seen and witnessed issues like this. Usually, ushers are trained to calm someone going through in the spirit. Sometimes, you may hear the pastor say, "Let's stay focused in the spirit so we can hear what the Holy Spirit is saying. This young lady seemed to be crying out to God. It's hus church. I just pray she didn't feel embarrassed or singled out. These kinds of incidents can cause daily whispers instead of daily worship. He's the pastor. If he's wrong, then God will handle it his way. To the young lady, keep on serving God. Prayers to this ministry 🛐
Nah man self control is a fruit of the spirit; this woman was screaming during worship that’s not self control - tell her to be quiet because if it was the spirit then why did she stop?
I recall wailing like this at my previous church and my pastor’s wife came over and comforted and prayed with me. No one knew I was going through and God used that moment to allow me to release. Nobody was mad, the members didn’t walk out. I needed that and they allowed the time for it. I will never forget that!

I could hear the pain, hurt, and anguish in that woman's cry. I don't know what that lady is going through but I pray God heal her mind, body, and spirit. I wish Pastor Keion Henderson would have prayed for her or instructed some women prayer warriors to pray for her. I will definitely keep her in my prayers.

We can not read minds or know what is in a person's heart, but as followers of Christ we need to show Christ's love to each other. Is it possible she also was trying to get attention? Maybe, but that was not the time or place to try and rebuke her. We need to give each either other the benefit of the doubt, and show compassion.
We can be more cold and judgemental towards others more than the "World" we are suppose to be ministering too. Sometimes the pain you have been holding on too will suddenly come out. I have seen this happen to a family member of mind. He had been caring for their loved one who was dying of a rare cancer. This cancer would created large open painful wounds as one of the many very debilitating symptoms. Everyday was a difficult challenge with bandage changes that took over an hour to do, and many other very stressful issues. The last few months of their life this person was basically 100% disabled and relied complete on other's for everything. Most of that load went to my relative, and they become ill physically due to everything going on.
We were together one evening and then suddenly they started yelling and crying uncontrollably. They had been holding everything in for over a year at this point, and the pain just needed to come out. We came around him and prayed together until the episode pasted. This person is a very quiet and tough person, as well as a Christian brother, but that moment he needed release some of the pain.
We need to start acting like Brother's and Sisters' in Christ and not just call each other "Brother" or "Sister".
I pray that the Lord comforts this women and answers her need.

I’ve been there where I’m still in an overflow of the spirit but the God of order helps me to make my way downstairs or out to the front foyer area. If some of the people read their Bible they’d know who is the author of confusion and that God is a God of authority he commands that you obey those who are above you whether in church, government or otherwise. I don’t know the situation so I won’t judge. I just know what I know from the word of God.

Demons inside of people speak out in church as well. I’m not saying the young woman had a demon speaking because I was not there, but the Pastor and other members were.

Thank for mention this. I am from the old school. I remember as a child in church, watching how the old Holy Ghost filled mother and elder in the church work. There were people coming in the church on their knee praying, even before the church open up. The pastor would tell them not come in here gossiping. When I look at that young lady I could tell she was in need of a strong deliverance. If she do that every Sunday, where was the deliverance room. Back in the day they would have taken you in the back, even kept you after church until you was deliver. True story. There was a minister in our church that was deliver from drug, and every Sunday he would take off running. Well, another minister went to the Pastor and told him she was offended by him running, and it did not take all that. It hurt him so, that he told me the pastor told him to stop running because it offended someone. Well the next Sunday God dealt with those two pastors. Heavenly Father said, "watch me." He told that pastor, "You don't tell no one how to praise me." Those two pastor dance up and down that pulpit. After God got through with them, they had to repent to that minister. The pastor told him in front of the church, "you can dance and run all you want." There is so many female are dealing with devil and different spirt in their household, that the church is the only place of release. Time for the real shepherd to lead God sheep.

He behaved wrongfully, both as a Pastor and as a man. It doesn't matter what he thought he was dealing with or not. He could have turned off the mics in the choir stand, or gone over to her, turned off his mic, and started praying for her. He has been in this role for too long to embarrass someone like that.
I feel sympathy for this young woman. It is awful to be humiliated like this. This is one of the reasons the world wonders why bother with church. How would he feel if someone treated his wife, sister, daughter, or someone he loves this way? We as Christians have to do better and stop justifying bad actions.
People who say that it's his church, it's not his church (unless he pays the monthly mortgage or paid it off by himself). The ministry might have been named by him but the church is God and the people.

Sometimes when you’re in the spirit it can be very difficult to not shout. It’s happened to me. I listened to a song or a message from the pastor and it hit me a certain way and I stood up and raised my hands to GOD and cried because I was trying to be strong and not shout. She needed to express herself but he wanted all the attention to himself.
This is why allowing “inspirational speakers” without the Holy Spirit become pastors is not a good thing….

My God, this was like Satan trying to stop someone from being free. He was all into himself and hearing himself.
It was satan who was trying to shut the pastor down. The pastor is in charge and when he ask the congregation to participate in a time of quiet praise. The congregation needs to follow the pastors lead. No one else can focus on the Holy Spirit when there’s that type of loud screaming around them. It definitely was not coming from God. The lady may not know it.. but she is on assignment from satan to keep disrupting the church service every week. She needs to recognize when what she is doing is not of God. If see cannot stop herself, then she needs to seek counseling and individual prayer. All of our struggles are not for the whole congregation. ❤️

He is not out of line! If he is the shepherd of that house.. it’s his job to keep things in order and to make sure the sheep know how to follow instructions.. He asked for everyone to get quiet and she started screaming out. For me I would question it, if he didn’t step up and address it, especially since she does it frequently. She is not in that sanctuary by herself. It’s disrespectful and rude to all of the others for one person to behave like that. ❤

Thank you!!! I concur and was going to post ,. People need discernment!!! This was a spirit on exhibition. We need discernment to distinguish which spirits are in operation. Was it her human spirit, Holy Spirit , unclean spirit. I guess Corey forgot about the verses that say God is not the author of confusion and Let all things be done decently and in order.
Just like the woman who had a spirit of divination. She was seemingly sounding accurate and saying the "right " thing, however it was the wrong source. The only thing I would have done differently is silence the spirt in operation and cast it out like the Apostle Paul did after his spirit was aggravated.
That's why deliverance and inner healing is needed. We can't counsel out a demon.

I was thinking the same thing. Usually when the Holy Spirit has quietened everyone like that, a word/prophecy is about to come through. In THAT kind of set up, intense hollering is usually a distraction.
Hollering / wailing usually appears to be genuine when the spirit has moved everyone to speak in tongues and many are also crying out too.

I agree that he likely handled this inappropriately. He should have asked a mother of the church to maybe comfort her and if needed usher her out of the sanctuary to see if she needed prayer or counseling. However, we also have to realize there are individuals that seek these kind of quiet moments to draw attention to themselves. A church I once attended; one woman would wait until the announcer would get up and like clockwork she’s all of a sudden in the spirit. That kind of emotional outburst especially if it’s done repeatedly by the same person needs to be dealt with.
So, people never busted out in praise or weeping after an encounter with God? I don't know why we must always put down people who have an emotional response to the Lord. Smh, as if people who had encounters with Jesus in the bible just would walk away completely silent,straight faced, and tight-lipped,got it👍🏾
Whereas I don’t agree with what was done and how it was done, I, personally, would not take it as far as to say that Pastor Henderson is ungodly and does not know the scriptures. He has not said/done anything against the scriptures that I can recall since I’ve followed him. I’m no Bible scholar but I do have discernment between true and false doctrine. I want to believe this incident was a lapse in judgment rather than discredit his entire ministry.
I know that cry. I've had that cry. That woman was coming out of something she was going through. And what better place to call on God than in His house? When the Holy Spirit moves, it is not always "prim and proper". I disliked everything about the pastor's response because he and his ego got in the way.

Whats killing me is someone commenting "she does this all the time"...Ok and. Some ppl are deep when they worship all the time. I knew a lady who would scream like that but she survived being shot by an ex boyfriend. She got married and had a son in our church. Nobody ever was offended by anyones wailing ever in church. Shame on him . Praise is never out of order during worship unless its dancing on chairs or crazy stuff.

At my former church thete was a lady that joined and every Sunday she wouldcry out. It annoyed people, but the more she grew in the word of God she cried outeven more. Then Sunday School she told her story and we knew why then why she reacted to the word of God. We all have a story, we all are going through something, all on different levels. I have great love and respect for that lady at my former church. Great teacher of the word and Hid is using her mightily. This lady here needs prayer for her deliverance. To be set free.

Amen! The things of God must be done decently and in order. If the pastor ask everyone to get quiet… the Holy Spirit is not directing this one person to yell out over the pastors voice. She was being used by the devil. How can I focus on my quiet praise and worship if the person next to me is just screaming out. That’s not edifying the whole church. I don’t understand folk saying the pastor is out of line. It’s his place to keep order in the church and since it is reported that this woman does this every week.. she’s probably getting on his nerves with the fake drama.. For all those saying she does this every Sunday…that may be true; however consider that this very moment could have been the breakthrough she did not receive in those 4 years. Consider the possibility that she kept doing whatever it was that prevented her release for 4 years and this moment was her major breakthrough.
When I heard her, I heard a woman travailing, I heard pain and anguish and a desire for release. Even after he told her to hush, she continued to wail… she didn’t go silent. He only minimized her wailing, but did not release it.
She sounds like she is worshipping and praising the Lord in an outward manner that includes crying out. Him (Their Pastor) stopping in the middle of supposed to be worship and praise to tell her to stop was out of order. You never know what someone is going through. I have wailed in church under tremendous pressure. You don't know what we go through. I'm a pastors wife, I've been through so much. I go to church, because I want to be lifted.
As a pastor's wife you should know the following: While being uplifted can be, and most often is a side benefit of going to church, the sole reason we are supposed to be there is to worship and honor the one, true, thrice-holy God. According to scripture, we are not there for our own edification or to have our own needs met, but to worship and glorify Him -- in an orderly fashion (1 Corinthians 14:26-40).

The worst part is right after church people like this are usually smoking in the church parking lot. Or they're in a restaurant disrespecting a waitress over napkins and ketchup. I'm telling you what I've seen.

One of the problems in the Church is, you have many PASTORS and leaders of the Church, who scold and shame the Church at times for being too quiet, stoic, even unemotional and they tell their congregations, the reason for that is because many of the members are too dignified, self-prideful, not filled with the Holy Spirit, not thankful enough, not grateful unto God enough etc. Then when members of their congregations are expressive, emotional or overwhelmed in the Spirit, now the leaders act as if their PERFECT discernment of what TRUE, AUTHENTIC, SINCERE, GENUINE worship is or the WAY they think it SHOULD BE ENTITLES THEM TO DICTACT THE ATMOSPHERE AND REBUKE OPENLY ANYONE WHO THEY FEEL IS OUT OF ORDER IN THEIR WORSHIP. In this age of social media, PASTORS and leaders MUST REALIZE the impact and effects this kind of open correction, in this case open REBUKE can have on a child of God, for this kind of REBUKE can be and is extremely embarrassing and humiliating to a child of God, especially a member of the same Church who may have family members there and of course the whole world now knows who you are in a extremely awkward, uncomfortable , yo say the least way. For any Pastor or leader to respond that way with millions watching show very SELFISH AND PRIDEFUL JUDGEMENT ON THEIR PART. Now this wonderful Christmas lady may be inhibited to express and release herself to the Spirit and quench the Spirit within herself for fear of open REBUKE in the future and not only so but now even other members of Pastor Keion's own congregation may now reman inhibited and quech the Spirit, in the future, for fear that they might not be worshipping the WAY HE THINKS IS FITTING. Pastor Keion now needs to have a private conversation with this member and find our what he most likely does NOT know and that is WHY this young lady is so overwhelmed in her worship and expressive and thankful. Truth is, he and we don't know what she is going through or has gone through or what God has brought her out of or delivered her from in her life. Maybe when he finds this out he will discover that his open REBUKE of her needs to be openly REBUKED before the congregation with his own mouth..AMEN..SELAH!

I’ve seen this video on another platform and people were saying she does this EVERY Sunday. If that is true he handled it the way he should have. I been in church my entire life and I’ve seen and heard a lot. Give people a stage and they will perform!
I’ve seen other post saying the same thing. There has to a line to be drawn when members reactions are never ending. I went to an extremely charismatic church, and there were a few members that was undetermined whether it was spirit or mental illness. Ultimately, he could have directed someone to escort her off the stage and took her to another area.

The spirit of God don't hurt people say that this woman would have took her life than what. There is a way to discreetly calm someone who is overcome with emotion..Had he calmly walked toward her with a spirit of compassion and including her into the worship with words of affirmation and fazed his song out, no one would’ve been the wiser to his obvious annoyance. He was clearly annoyed and his “tongues” were not of the Holy Ghost.

People in the choir probably been complaining for a while, because she does this every Sunday. Usually people know the ones who screams and holla about every Sunday, and some of the people of the congregation choose not to sit next to them, because it’s usually the same ones. When you’re in a choir you really don’t have a Choice. More than a few comments sounds like hatred against pastor rather he told her to hush or not. If you need to let loose like that… That kind of praise and calling on God is private between you and God. Based on a lot of other post on Ytube. This lady does this regularly. Disturbing the order of the worship, and she has been asked, not to do that. Some say nobody knows what she’s going through. Well, she doesn’t know what everybody else in the church is going through. I certainly don’t want to hear one person yelling out over every one else. There are times when the pastor tells everyone to get up clap your hands and give the lord a shout, there are times when the service is opened up for shouting and dancing. This time the pastor was asking for quiet and she wouldn’t stop. He usually is very lenient during praise and worship time at his church. But, you must follow the pastors lead. If he says I need everyone quiet at this moment. He does have that right! I appreciate the pastor stepping in when someone is out of order and it’s the same person all the time. ❤

A seasoned pastor is supposed to be so empowered with God that if what folk are saying is true..HE should've called on compassionately and diligently called on God enough by now..to help her..discern what's really happening and gain control over every unruly spirit. "It" or "they" should've become subject to the Holy Spirit now. GOD is not a 4 years and counting type deliverance God.. "He spoke and it stood still"..and He didn't speak for years. The issue here..allegedly..is the member who travails "every Sunday" for years..and the "pastor" chooses to rebuke and bring even more attention to this soul who desperately needs release..one way or the other..not humiliated. When you TRULY labor with someone inwardly grieved or troubled like this..and lovingly lead them to their "be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea" moment..true worship breaks forth powerfully..all eyes on GOD'S glory. God can't be pleased with a 4 year occupancy where the anointing ..allegedly..dwells. Those folk don't need singing..they need intense prayer and leadership that's equipped to provide it.. where they can feel safe🤯..not entertained.🙈🙉✌️

I have seen and witnessed issues like this. Usually, ushers are trained to calm someone going through in the spirit. Sometimes, you may hear the pastor say, "Let's stay focused in the spirit so we can hear what the Holy Spirit is saying. This young lady seemed to be crying out to God. It's hus church. I just pray she didn't feel embarrassed or singled out. These kinds of incidents can cause daily whispers instead of daily worship. He's the pastor. If he's wrong, then God will handle it his way. To the young lady, keep on serving God.
