Excellent video, I heard about OctoStudio 1 month ago and I have been watching your videos and it is a very useful tool for children to get into this world of programming. In my case I am the father of a 4 year old boy and I don't know anything about programming, so it will help me a lot for him to learn.....Greetings from Pucón, Chile.
@@OctoStudioApp I follow the tutorials you publish and try to put them into practice, my son is 4 years old and I am trying to put together a project according to his age, which in turn is educational and entertaining for him, greetings and go ahead with your project.
I was making a game, and i wonder,is it possible to make sprites and they change or something? Like, example, when i tap a heart,it changes to an other thing, like a square .
That is a great question, and this comment actually inspired me to make a tutorial that will show how to make an animation :D The tutorial will come out soon, but in the meantime, one way you can do that in octostudio is to make the heart sprite hide when you tap it, and then make it send a message (for example "message1"), and then add another square sprite, and give that square the code "when i receive message1, show." Also, you can give the square the code "When the play button is pressed, hide" to make it be hidden at the beginning of the game Let me know how that goes! I'm happy to help if you run into any trouble on the way
What do you want to be the moving obstacles in your game? :D
I don’t really know but I might choose some trees to make it tricky

I'm so glad the videos have been useful! That's wonderful to hear about you and your son. Are there any videos you have been hoping to see?
