All of these threw back memories when I lived in a town that actually had an icecream truck run by on summer's. I always thought it was just a Tv thing, and only ever gotten my icecream from there 3 times. A couple times at home, one time in elementary when it was burning hot and they managed to get the icecream man to pull up in the lot to deliver some for us. None of the kids had to pay up since I think he was already paid, and it was the best.
When I was little i was at my friends house, truck came by and her dad bought us ice cream. Her dog was running around her feet and all of a sudden she started SCREAMING i thought her dog got run over by the truck but no she dropped her ice cream 😂
I remember cry baby ice cream being sold in vending machines at my old elementary school, but they got rid of the ice cream machines because it would encourage the students to have poor eating habits.
