- A small shelf made with old magazines to organize some supplies and keep my working table free.

- Old magazined
- White glue
- Instant glue
- Wood skewer
-Ruler, craft knife, cutting mat, paint brush

Ass glue is incredibly potent stuff.
It's so nice seeing someone deliver what they promise, most people that does reciclable stuff usually waste tons of resources like expensive glue guns, water and electricity.
Expensive glue gun? Well found mine for five dollars in a dollarama...
I absolutely love your work. I had some old Astronomy magazines I didn't want to part with but I didn't need them. I found your videos and they inspired me to make rolls out of the magazines and I made a shelf. I'm glad I found your videos... Thank you and I hope you make new ones 🙂
you have the patience of a saint, I tried something like this, o had to give up in the end, mind you my bookcase was floor to ceiling, maybe bit too ambitious,

If you have kids that can roll nicely try that or you can set an amount to do a day

I was thinking, you could get wooden shelves, roll up the magazine pages and glue them on. I wonder if you'd get this look, but a stronger shelf, an actual shelf to put books and stuff on.

Beautiful work. I only would suggest using a coating of Paverpol on this to make it as solid as a rock.
Thanks for the tip! I've never heard of Paverpol, but I did some quick search and it seems like it's a pva based hardener. I'm not sure though... But looking at the paverpol art on google gave me some ideas :D

I don't really know. I spent a week making the rolls at night, the glue up didn't take too long.

Awesome idea, though I wonder what the weight limit is on that shelf.
Just for light stuff. That penholder was already kinda heavy, it didn't break, but that shelf bended a little.
