SuperDuperBoy/SDB until they curb the rampant suburban sprawl, building another major skyscraper in Atlanta might not be feasible for now.

Atlanta has plenty of iconic skyscrapers. Bank of America Plaza in Midtown, One Atlantic Center (also known as IBM Tower) also in Midtown, Westin Peachtree Plaza in Downtown, Equitable Building also in Downtown, and Concourse at Landmark Center (also known as King and Queen Towers) in Sandy Springs are easily icons of the Atlanta skyline.
At one time, there was proposal for Trump Tower hotel to be built in Midtown or Buckhead, but it's unclear whether it'll see the light of day.
Much like the Space Needle is to Seattle, the Gateway Arch is to St. Louis, the Statue of Liberty is to NYC, the Washington Monument is to DC, and the Reunion Tower is to Dallas, it'd be interesting to see Atlanta have a tall standing tower structure that isn't a skyscraper building meant for Atlanta.

_The skyline view here in ATL is great, but we have like 3 seperate ones Downtown, Midtown & Buckhead. It definitely could be much better just like anywhere else could. Atlanta definitely has the funds and so much potential.. I'd be nice to see atleast 16 more big ones built yes 16 each 800ft-1,700ft tall & 12 more med sized mixed use buildings 300-600ft to fill in the gaps between Downtown/Midtown & the large gap from Midtown up to Buckhead has no big buildings. Also over on the west side north of the Benz stadium where it's just lacking buildings could use some _*_(hopefully Centennial yards go as planned)._*_ Atlanta would the officially be a top 3 city in the US _*_(going off tallest US buildings & looks)_*

I love Atlanta skyline. Similar to Houston's skyline.

It's more similar to Charlotte's skyline. Houston's skyline is more like Los Angeles. The cityscapes of The H and LA as well. The A, Queens City, and DC are similar to each other with DC not being as tall.

@@user-hf3eb8lj5g That's right. We're not comparable to Atlanta, and vice versa. Atlanta and Charlotte are near each other and culturally more similar. Their skylines are also more similar. There's even been historic pictures that have Los Angeles as Houston, and Houston as Los Angeles. Even on documentary videos by mistake, all the way down to post cards and in-service classes I've taken for Bexar County Sheriff's Office. Hell I jokingly let THEM know that the picture was describing Houston, but the skyline was in fact Los Angeles. The two cities are even comparable in massive city and metro area size. DC is just a smaller skyline version of both Atlanta and Charlotte. The. 3 topographies as well are similar to each other.
