- In this episode of "Mining the World," I took on an epic task-mining out a 3x3 chunk area from the top of a mountain all the way down to bedrock! Starting with a single chunk, I expanded to a full 3x3 grid, uncovering layers of stone and deepslate, and discovering a massive haul of ores along the way. This project continues to push the limits, as we go deeper and wider, transforming the world one chunk at a time.

Got my like for sure for such commitment! It just makes me wonder how much time went into making a video like that, regarding mining, repairing ect.
Thank you for the support! 😁 I can give some idea of the time! Usually every timelapse cut is between 1-2 hours mining and off camera I take around 10 minutes to repair the tools using mason villagers trades (I sell them the stone for emeralds, then use the emeralds to buy Quartz)! Hope it gave some insights on the time this videos take 😋
Are you going to expand from here and work this hole into your usual terrain in the next episodes? An exposed deep dark/ancient city owuld be epic
No and yes! So unless we got 361 likes I think we are done with chunk mining 😂 but I want to soon revisit this area and start making it look natural. For the ancient city, I know for a fact there is one, below the 2 mountains close to where the Aquifer was and I plan to start exposing it soon 😋 realistically will take several months but it’s an episode I really want to do! 😁
You should use silk touch for the skulk blocks. Also, one question is will this be the new way you'll be mining from now on?
Mostly I didn’t because it’s a huge source of xp to repair the tools 😋 no, it was just a special episode as some people ask for this, but I think most people and me inclusive believe that natural mining looks cooler! 😁 I might do another one of these but would be rare and sparse for sure (even because though it was fun to make, doing it regularly I feel I would get bored 😂)
