Recently, in 2023, it was for the opening of the 10th Silk Road Performances with Tia Ray and everyone else. If you watch it, you'll know what i mean. It's not on his TH-cam channel but on his Instagram.

I kept staring at Dimash wondering what was going on in his head, his face completely impassive. The audience laughing, talking, eating, napping ! When all was ready bam ! They all immediately started working. All for a few minutes of singing. Show "Business" and it is.

Thank you. Dimash is playing the Emperor and Li Yugang is playing the concubine. (he plays women's parts in the Peking Opera). The emperor is sentencing her to death for treason. She reminds him of the wonderful time that they had together when they were drunk. He wishes that they could have one more drunken time together. :D And then there's 'Diva Dance' ! This is one of the best duets ever! It is great and gets better with each viewing.

Love this performance!!! Drunken Concubine in dialogue the tragic story between a famous concubine of the Chinese imperial court, Li Yugang in that role, and the emperor, Dimash’s rol that’s why the throne at stage. At the end of the story the concubine is poisoned as a result of court intrigues. Li Yugang is a famous artist considered China’s National Treasure and he is a nan dan singer (male playing female roles) art forms from Peking Opera, giving the traditional art a modern edge. The way he moves (knees bent together and those "meows" have a special meaning in the traditional opera). What is most amazing about Li is that he couldn’t study in the university or conservatory of music, he is absolutely autodidact which is so admirable!! 👌👍💥 ❤️🎤🔝 One of the things a I love the most of Dimash is his versatility and his ability to show us different cultures through the music. In this case with Li Yugang, they have made a perfect match with the traditional Peking Opera style, beautiful 🌟

On December 16, 2023, Dimash performed at the opening ceremony of the International Film Festival on Hainan Island. with the composition “Across Endless Dimensions” - the main musical theme of the feature film “Creators: The Past” by Italian director Piergiuseppe Zaya. Wow! Awesome reaction, John. First, Lee is a traditionally trained Peking Opera singer who can sing female parts and the way he sings the female part is very typical of Peking Opera style. Of course, Dimash's awesome voice comes in and you can identify him anywhere. I loved your SHOCKED reaction when he just threw in that whistle note. With Dimash, you have to expect the unexpected, and that was exactly it. The Jasmine song. This version was paired with a digital female character, which I don't even think it was a real person's voice. It sounded computerized in order to match up with Dimash. It was very interesting that he broke off from the traditional Chinese melody and inserted his trademark vocal runs that are almost Middle Eastern/Kazakh flavored. Loved that.
Hola John. Me gusta mucho cuando Dimash hace dúos, como dices, mis respetos a los que se animan a hacerlo con la mejor voz del mundo y también en los dúos se escucha la voz cristalina de Dimash. También es de notar que en los dúos Dimash siempre se ajusta a la tonalidad de los otros cantantes ya que sería imposible que ellos se ajustaran a Dimash. Li Yugang is a star of the Peking Opera, a classical form of Chinese musical theater. Li plays female roles, and the piercing nasal timbre of his falsetto allows his voice to carry over the instrumentalists to the back of a very large theater.
This is one of my all time favourite performances - both Dimash and Li are masters in their own right but Dimash‘s voice and vocal acrobatics are in matched. Li Yugang is a big Peking Opera star in China famed for his nandan (male singing female) roles. There are a few versions of Dimash singing Jasmine - he was invited again to perform Jasmine in China last year. He is on another level. Love that you love Dimash. Have seen a few of your reactor friends on TH-cam referencing your rose giving to Dimash. Good job John. Loving your Dimash journey 🙏🏻🇦🇺

Drunken Concubine in dialogue the tragic story between a famous concubine of the Chinese imperial court, Li Yugang in that role, and the emperor, Dimash’s rol that’s why the throne at stage. At the end of the story the concubine is poisoned as a result of court intrigues. Li Yugang is a famous artist considered China’s National Treasure and he is a nan dan singer (male playing female roles) art forms from Peking Opera, giving the traditional art a modern edge. The way he moves (knees bent together and those "meows" have a special meaning in the traditional opera). What is most amazing about Li is that he couldn’t study in the university or conservatory of music, he is absolutely autodidact which is so admirable!! 👌👍💥 ❤️🎤🔝 One of the things a I love the most of Dimash is his versatility and his ability to show us different cultures through the music. In this case with Li Yugang, they have made a perfect match with the traditional Peking Opera style, beautiful 🌟

On December 16, 2023, Dimash performed at the opening ceremony of the International Film Festival on Hainan Island. with the composition “Across Endless Dimensions” - the main musical theme of the feature film “Creators: The Past” by Italian director Piergiuseppe Zaya. Wow! Awesome reaction, John. First, Lee is a traditionally trained Peking Opera singer who can sing female parts and the way he sings the female part is very typical of Peking Opera style. Of course, Dimash's awesome voice comes in and you can identify him anywhere. I loved your SHOCKED reaction when he just threw in that whistle note. With Dimash, you have to expect the unexpected, and that was exactly it. The Jasmine song. This version was paired with a digital female character, which I don't even think it was a real person's voice. It sounded computerized in order to match up with Dimash. It was very interesting that he broke off from the traditional Chinese melody and inserted his trademark vocal runs that are almost Middle Eastern/Kazakh flavored. Loved that.
Hola John. Me gusta mucho cuando Dimash hace dúos, como dices, mis respetos a los que se animan a hacerlo con la mejor voz del mundo y también en los dúos se escucha la voz cristalina de Dimash. También es de notar que en los dúos Dimash siempre se ajusta a la tonalidad de los otros cantantes ya que sería imposible que ellos se ajustaran a Dimash. Hasta con la I A se ajusta Dimash ya que se escucha perfectamente acoplado a la voz artificial en la canción de Jazmín. Saludos desde Nicaragua ❤
Li Yugang is a star of the Peking Opera, a classical form of Chinese musical theater. Li plays female roles, and the piercing nasal timbre of his falsetto allows his voice to carry over the instrumentalists to the back of a very large theater.
This is one of my all time favourite performances - both Dimash and Li are masters in their own right but Dimash‘s voice and vocal acrobatics are in matched. Li Yugang is a big Peking Opera star in China famed for his nandan (male singing female) roles.
There are a few versions of Dimash singing Jasmine - he was invited again to perform Jasmine in China last year. He is on another level.

I want you to know that this was a LIFE performance, it this was recorded for Chinese TV but the one person that you are looking at singing is really singing. I luuuuuuv the part you repeated, that run in his head voice was insane totally unbelievable.
