Yum! Can't go wrong with cinnamon rolls! Yes, croissants are kind of time consuming, but most of the time is spent resting the dough in the fridge. Let me know how they turn out! Thanks!
I baked mine tonight, and they were amazing! So much better than store bought ones! Your instructions were perfect, and very easy to follow. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe and video!
You rock Kara! ....and you are my FMF inspiration! So glad I found you! I appreciate ALLLLL your hands on teaching. I love that you have an Ank now, and room for it! You deserve an Ank, and the Ank deserves you!! I know these croissants will be great, hope I have your patience to do them. THANK YOU!
Love your channel...I so appreciate that you use weight in your recipes, not just volume measurements. Now I want to know what part of Texas! We're in the South DFW area.
Hello 👋, your channel has been so helpful thank you for sharing all your expertise in making recipes with fresh milled flour . I was wondering can you use the mixer to knead the dough in this recipe or does it have to be kneaded by hand ?
Loving your channel & recipes! Just getting started on my milling & baking journey! Would you mind sharing what the little packet in your Kumut grain bin is? Thank you for all the great info!!
I am so happy you found me! Enjoy the journey! Since we go through different climates, and often humid areas, I like to keep a moisture absorber in there just as a precaution. It is probably not necessary, but figured it couldn't hurt. Here is the ones I have in there. amzn.to/3gqLdzM
@@GrainsInSmallPlaces I'm so thankful to have found you too! Thanks for responding .. the moisture absorbers makes total sense :) I thought it might be those oxygen absorbers I've been hearing about .. do you use oxygen absorbers in your large buckets??
I use a a different mill than you. I use the wondermill and I am assuming since it is a pasty I will be using the pastry grinding setting and not the bread setting.
@@GrainsInSmallPlaces My first attempt went really well, I was pleasantly shocked, your video made all the difference for me. but I do think it will be better next week with the finer pastry grind
Seems like a very long process but well worth it. This will me my 4th recipe I do from your channel! My favorite is the cinnamon rolls!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I never thought of gratting the butter. That's a great Idea.
Just a fun little trick I learned along the way! I thought I would share it.
Where did you get your double pastry roller, I love it!
Thanks! I love it too! Here is a link to it! amzn.to/44xOjp4
Thank you
I'm wondering if you plan to put out a cook book? I would def buy it!
I would love to entertain writing one, but not sure how to get it published...?
@@GrainsInSmallPlaces I'm afraid I can't help you with that, but I'm sure that someone can 👍
Just made your sandwich loaf recipe and it’s now my go-to for my family’s weekly bread 🍞
Yay! I am so happy to hear that! Thank you!
That's my go too recipe as well.

Awesome! I am so happy to help! You can use a mixer, but it doesn't have to be mixed super long, let me know how it goes! Happy Baking! 😊
They look beautiful and so yummy! I'm just starting with baking with whole grains so will put this recipe on my list for later. Thanks!
Yay! Welcome to milling! It is a fun journey! Happy Baking!
Those look wonderful! A must try!

🥰 I don't use them. I go through my grain pretty quickly, so I am opening my buckets pretty often.
Yours turned out beautiful ❤ Each of your recipes have been a success for us & I'm sure these will also. Thank-you 😊
Thank you so much! I hope you love them!

Yes, I mill the flour fine for these. Let me know what you think if you give them a try!

Has anyone tried using Kirkland Brand butter?
The Kirkland butter I believe has the higher moisture in it, you need a grass-fed or European style butter for best results.
@@GrainsInSmallPlacesdoes it matter if the European butter is salted or unsalted?
Hiiiiii ❤❤❤
Hi! Let me know if you try making these!
