13:26 I have a foggy memory of those Shell promotional sets, my cousin got them on errand fuel stops with my grandfather. Great little sets we played with together.😁 Cool store, wish I had one in my region.
I popped in on Thurs this week and loads of the stuff you showed has already sold. I did manage to pick up an old techinic set though which I'm really pleased with.
Excellent. I did get a message from Paul last week saying that quite a few people had been in recently and mentioned my video. Glad you were able to get the Technic set.
Good to see an independent retailer with a high street location to visit. A short walking video tour of other places of interest in New Milton could see Iain doing wonders for local shops in the town. Thank you.
To own a shop like that is a dream for me. Wish the UK did a Bricks & Minifigures franchise like they do in USA. I had many of those sets in the past 7127, shell sets, etc. Great video, thanks.
Great store and range of sets. We have a lot of used toy and collectibles places here, but sadly very little Lego. As soon as I saw you pick up the castle sets I thought, he’s buying those for sure!
Great video Iain. My white whale is a dark grey crouching cat that doesn't seem to exist but hopefully one day I'll find it in a shop like this. I've collected about 90 cats so far.
@@iainsbricks no I don't. It's early probably Belville. Bricklink 6251 code and when you look at colour options it's the old light grey which is dark grey. I have one colour not listed being cream without stripes but there's nothing on the dark grey. It's a ghost 😅
wow... I have two sets of those bookends somewhere, I'd completely forgotten that I have them. I'll have go and look for them now! (They were from 2009)
@@iainsbricks I've just got to the end of the vid (been watching it on and off this morning) and saw you got the castle sets... that 6030 Black Falcons Catapult set is a true classic, and with the condition of those torsos, it was a really good price too. - Have fun building it ! I looked up the airport shuttle current prices, they are ranging from £400 to £900 used on Ebay and none on BL in the UK !
The part checking on used sets is worth the price in itself, currently dismantling and reverse bagging a lot of my daughters old sets to make room for all the new ones she has….. mostly all over 1500+ parts!!
@@iainsbricks no problem. It's only an hour away from me, so I must go and visit sometime! - I presume he's happy for people to spend a while browsing?

Lovely shop, hard to not buy it all there! I have seen the store before via HighTeaToys's channel on youtube, really great to see you there as well. Congrats on the nostalgia sets :)

We regularly visit The Spacebridge and often pick up great sets and bargains there.
New Milton is a fairly small town but has a reasonable amount of small and local retailers.
Fantastic shop and what a selection. I’m sure my family and I will visit it one day soon. Reasonable prices too. Thanks for shareing👍

No problem. Thanks for watching. Definitely worth a visit if you can.
What a lovely shop! ❤
Yes, it really is.

Brilliant video love this shop
Thanks Daniel. Love having a browse around
What a wonderful shop, and an amazing and diverse range of sets - great stuff. Is my dream to run a shop like that (mainly focused on LEGO!)

I have the black catapult stored away somewhere up in the attic. Takes me back 30 to 40 years with some of those sets you spotted.
Just built it this afternoon. From 1984! Great little set, and in great condition
