I’ve had this mg zst essence for around 4 months now and I’m enjoying the car.I leave it in sports mode when I’m looking for that extra power .I definitely makes a difference.
@@Venturai Its got more than enough power .Sports mode is the perfect amount of power.Even with a car full of people up a steep hill it has no problem getting up .The adaptive cruise control is very good also.I use it regularly.
I'm thinking about buying a ZST Essence but worrying about the sunroof making the car an oven here in Queensland, Australia. Where do you live and is that a problem for you?
I have recently bought this car and I very happy with it, even my colleague are very impressed from my new car and some of them have decided to buy as well.
Great video, accurate information. Have a 2022 ZST excite 35000 k all country driving gravel and seal rds .very happy with it. Recommend. Keep up with your videos
Hi jerry i have a mg zst excite only 2 months old still learn ing can you tell me why the headlights turn on every time I start the car is there a way to stop that
New owner of a ZST here. The default light setting is Auto. This means that during the day, the car has its Running Lights on. At night, this will mean that the Headlights are on. The vehicle 's light sensor determines which lights should be in use. Either way, that means the Headlight Icon on your dash will be illuminated. If you wish to drive with the Running lights off, then turn the stalk to Off, but these lights will be on again when you restart the car. - that's its default mode. I was unfamiliar with these lights. I was thinking that these were "Parkers", but it seems that parking lights are obsolete on recent cars. It explains why I was questioning why so many cars are driving with what I thought were their parking lights. They are driving with these Running Lights which must be a default on those vehicles as well.
Hi, I am based in Australia and just wanted to know if the driveaway price of MG ZST(any model) includes the tinting cost and floor mats cost? Have been test driving other models and dealers add almost $1200 on top of Driveaway price so was just wanting to know if the same thing happens with MG dealers.
I work at a dealer in NZ. Not sure about Australian dealers. We definitely do not include tinting. Floor mats can be included but you need to talk to them.
Had my ZST now for just over a year, biggest complaint for me is the lane assist tries to take over makes the steering very twitchy and the seat covering plastic on a hot they get to hot to set on. The plastics inside mark up very easily apart from that OK car. And just one last thing serving cost seem to be anything the dealer fancies, Dealer in Hawera service mine just before Xmas $380.00 so I contacted Palmerston MG dealers for same service $280.00. If I had a Toyota or Mazda serving would be standardized.

Can see me running my Excite in sports mode quite a bit. Expecting to take delivery by the end of this month.

Thank you for the support.
Thanks
Thank you so much!
@@JerryPanandCars I asked for a video highlighting the ZST Excite, and you went out of your way to do one. It was the least I could do.
Thanks for the review. Some other videos ive washed show this car is a little thirsty on the petrol. by the way you were driving 70 in a 50 zone!
I generally get around 7.5L/100km on this engine. It is not bad.
This is nice, but can you do this for the MG Marvel R to?
I need to wait till Feb till i get that car.
No Marvel R for New Zealand :(
Does this have direct injection or multipoint port injection
Hi just wanting to know if the 6 way adjustable driver seat includes a lumbar support? Thank you
No lumbar support
Can you do a review on the lane keeping I think it is dangerous
Yeah will do one for sure. After March maybe as I’m on holiday right now.
The problem with the turbo is you need to pump 95 Ron and that itself doesn’t make this a budget car.

Check with the dealer. It might be related to auto head light sensor issues
Thank you 😊

Can you do a review on the 1.5l 8speed auto zst please
We don't have this combination in New Zealand. It is either 1.5L CVT or 1.3 Turbo 6 Speed Auto
I HAVE THIS CAR.I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO CHECK RANGE i.e.AFTER THE FUEL KEY IS AT END HOW MANY KILOMETERS IT CAN GO.

I thought it was supposed to be set price servicing with MG also?
Only for Australia. NZ doesn't have set price for MG servicing.
6,700 views and only 33 comments being shown, that says it all.
That's actually a lot of comments compared to my other videos lol.
@@JerryPanandCars I would be happy to have you as my car's salesman.😊

@@JerryPanandCars Who knows, if you stay in the business long enough, the cars might begin to grow wings. That would be something.
178cm is 5ft 10 - not 8
Thanks. Yes, should be 5.8 feet or 5 foot 10. I have corrected this in later videos.
