What Charlie says is spot on: this season when I watch Forest I am confident, or at least hopeful, even against the very top teams. Previous seasons I was anxious, praying. That is a reflection of how we play.
Great content! So many of the pundits act like our run came from nowhere. But any Forest fan knows that we have built, built, built to this point. Last season, 17th and 6 points clear of relegation, after a 4 point PSR deduction and (conservatively) 6 points of refereeing errors... we all knew that this season would be WAY better even if we improved NOTHING. But we also knew that set pieces, where we were not just the worst in the prem but BY FAR the worst, set pieces gave us a nice, single, discreet thing to work on. Fix that and we all knew that 12th to 14th was our level at least. Now everything is a bonus. Top 10 is probable! 5th is seriously possible. Chelsea & Arsenal will get past us. And Newcastle, surely. And City, probably. But we dare to dream. 5th...... it might happen
