在新加坡有15年了，2008 来
这几年我觉得变化真的很大，很幸福以前的房租两个人只有450而已。但后来两个人700块没冷气，我们都觉得贵。到后来，租屋房子2,100很幸运我们签长合约到我们可以买房为止。agent 涨最少75％。很幸运我们逃过了一劫，但对现在才刚过来新加坡的，只想说，有高学历有高薪，才值得过来，不难房租真的吃不消。不要怪刚买家的屋主出租的房间贵因为贷款和水电费让人吃不消。
有小朋友上学的开始用zoom , home base learning ,几乎小一开始，每个人都必须要有一台电脑。
现在很多都用科技化，动不动就必须要有个app ,现在我上班打卡都需要开手机time in time out ,连pay slip 全部上app 看
还钱越来越方便Paynow , PayLah! , 有个手机，钱，ic 都不需要带。
Grad food, panda是一个趋势，通街都是谁都可以做。
还有那个汇率，以前我的是2.34现在已经是3块3😂
现在几乎每个人，一有时间。就进修再进修。怕被社会淘汰。
科技跟机械人，在这个社会变成不可缺了。
目前生活上只想到这一些。
High five. I came in Sept 2007. I don't remember what was the currency but know in 2010 increased to around 2.5 considered good.
In 2007 Green Line most west stop was Boon Lay. Need to take taxi for interview in Tuas. Only have Green Red and Purple line. I was staying with my aunt before buying my own place so wasn't sure about the rental. COE was around 10+k. No Grab no Uber only conventional taxi and the starting rate was $1.80 and $2.20 with 10 cent increment.
No such thing as data or whatsapp yet. HP with wifi function considered good liao. Blackberry was king and professional pre-2012. Public bus: SBS is double decker, SMRT was the super long worm (y they also become double decker nowadays ah). small tv in the double decker showing CNA news, Just for Laughs and sometimes channel 8 local series......and those were the sweet time with my gf became wife, and now becoming ex-wife ☹
Oh ya budget terminal but air asia in terminal 1 instead of budget terminal (almost miss my flight there in 2009)

新加坡房子和房租超贵到不合理！有时想这样加钱起价下去新加坡迟早变日本货船”迟早丸“，新加坡人很多还在赞新加坡”南波湾“。新加坡HDB公屋，五方式都卖到新币100万到150万！最近两间咖啡店转手都以新币4000以上完成交。私人公寓就是HDB的二，三倍价钱。政府新建的BTO四方式从新币70万到100万。

85年来新加坡，租point block 600新币（5房式）。MRT还没开跑。忘了马币和新币的兑换率了。
The reason of why Sing $ is so strong vs Malaysian Ringgit is that MAS supports & strengtens our currency to fight inflation. World-wide is having inflation now. But in so doing, though imported inflation is curbed, our exports become expensive. This is how the economy works. Of course, there're other reasons of weakening Ringgit (political for example).
有一个变化是新加坡的富豪越来越多了不知道你们有没有发现到
现在的新加坡政府组屋BTO 建造的时间会比较长，原因供应链的问题。大部分的材料都是来自中国🇨🇳钢铁和五金。因为中国还在清零政策。
疫情还没爆发之前新加坡的组屋BTO大概交锁时间在四年里。
以前Ananas很多，現在就變成稀有的店了（不懂你們看過嗎？）

The strong growth of being 1 of the 4 Asian Dragons in the 1980s, 1990s or so for S'pore is over. We have become a mature economy. Our Govt has good policies in place. Rightfully, Malaysia being a bigger country with so many natural resources should not have Ringgit weakened too much vs Sing$. The answers are probably there.
