It is not necessary to convert license within 3 months if you become SG PR. This is only needed if you want to continue drive. By the rule, if you have become PR, there is a grace period that you can still drive with you M’sia license (let’s say for work purposes). But after this period end you have to have SG license. You can be a PR for 10 years, and then convert it, no issues at all.
