My cat had a rodent ulcer on his bottom lip. (Top canine rubs on the bottom lip & creates the ulcer) The vet I used 😖😖 cut the top tooth off with the cat awake. I was so mad at him I know it hurt. Never used him again.
That is so sad humans neglected to get that beak cut for so long. Poor guy probably couldn't handle eat! Thank you for being so gentle and helping this sweet creature!❤❤❤

Sorry, I don't think it was offended if you thought the raised crest feathers on its head were separated and scanty. It is its nature for those head feathers to spread out that way whenever the bird is moved to do so. Just like peacock tail feathers do.😂.👍 Even before the procedure, it knew something was being done by the owner or vet to the displaced uncomfortable lower beak. Animals are smarter than we ordinarily think they are.😂

this is why its important for parrots to have things to chew on they grind their beaks naturally, if it gets this way the previous owner has been very irresponsible (usually in birds that get rescued they have beaks that need some grinding) or it was a special case in nature and the bird couldnt or didnt knew how to grind its beak properly thanks for taking good care of them
