Only piercing exploits mantis eye weakness. Salt and candy arrows don't do piercing damage, they do elemental only. So you can just aim for body with same results.

What does the implant weakeness do? Like cuz mantis and wasp queen are both weak to salt so why not salt dmg up?
It's so annoying how everything is rn if I wanted to even try this build it would be so hard to get a bow with this mutating and a trinket on top and then get 105 crystals just to max it
Just killed NG12 IBM using a fist build...
It had very good DPS.
The main things are
Fury + Unarmed DMG trinket and Fury + Samurai trinket. Use samurai until max speed then just switch to the main trinket. I do have Mad science that I could use, but wanted to do it without that.

Fire ant shield, fury + unarmed dmg as main trinket, fury +samurai as 2nd trinket, wizard hat, termite chest, assassin legs.
For the mutations
Lil fist, Chopper, Smasher, SharpShooter, Trapper Peep.R.
Some can easily be changed but that was my first version of it.
The builds do changed depending on boss.
Fist build do rely heavily on perfect blocking tho.
Fist build might be the best build as It does True DMG. until they nerf it to the ground again...
If anyone wanted to try the build, good luck trying to get Fury + unarmed DMG on one trinket.
You could possibly use +Boss dmg. I don't know the +unarmed %DMG so can't tell if +Boss will be anywhere close to the DPS.
@@fidoughbreadit unarmed is 100% more fist damage so 2x damage pretty much
Have you found a way to cheat the random effects of the artifacts / weapons yet? Or do you just grind until you get something interesting?
I feel like you could unlock the sausage and the glowbasa necklace and it could sort of do the same thing as the dupe glitch, but use the glitch to get unlimited deduper jelly
I ended up getting the exact same trinket, with cd best and cd major. I just got damage resist as my last stat

They were changed to now drop 2 random effects

Hey so im ng+ 2 and i want to turn my early access original save to a custom game because i dont have that much time to grind anymore due to beinv a father. Would this keep me from going new game plus or completeing story or would it absolutely only make achievements unnobtainable.
It just turns off achievements, you can still go to NG+.

The mantis is also cheeseable by climbing up the tree with sap catchers so its even more easy!!!

It's hard to enjoy any weapon or build in this game when every boss is given that annoying ass damage reduction and you end up chipping away slowly at them no matter what setup you go with. Makes it all feel the same.
I think andmo’s build is better but this is good too

You can get a stupid amount of duper jelly if you hold an infused weapon and de dupe it
