You can tell Ayo has never watched Atleti play. And when constantly going on about the money Atleti spent neither Dermott or Colin could give a definitive answer as to how they could afford the summer spend. Salary cap has nothing to do with them spending 200M. They failed to mention that 9 players left & 6 were brought in and that this was a rebuild. More importantly little was mentioned about the fact that Atleti were very cheap the past 2 seasons relying on cheap & free transfers. And having a very rich person as a shareholder has absolutely nothing to do with Atleti's new stadium or the new sports city, both are being funded by loans taken against the club & paid for with the revenue the club brings in from La Liga, TV & Champions League. This felt more like a subtle way to take a swipe at Simeone.
@@manuelbarros4898of course, but these are 2 journalists who have covered La Liga for many years and have access to all the information that I have. This is more about them failing to be objective due to their dislike of Atleti or/and Simeone...theyre certainly not the only ones Simeone & Atleti can be very polarizing especially to the British.
@ Sorry. My point was about Ayo, although I’ll admit I didn’t say that in what I finally posted. No objection about the other two, I’m sure you’re right.
One thing that they don’t really mention is how important Gimenez being consistently fit this season has been. Far and away their best CB and is stepping into the Godin role truly. Genuinely one of the best CBs in Europe right now.
I get the point Colin is making that atletico generally need the others to have a slight off season to win but his 'they maybe can't get 90 points claim' is seriously irritating me, they got 90 points in 13/14!
Lol both of you are wrong, even if he didn't win anything the 2015/2016 season is the best neck to neck with Prime MSN and BCB, they also played way better in that CL final vs the one before
Yeah Atletico isint just winning their matches like how these guys are saying it ... Atletico are literally playing better than Barca and Madrid , they arent just luckly winning their matches they are actually playing good

@ but when football changes, you have to change the style of play, otherwise you won’t attract top quality players and more fans, which means more money
More of these pods about football outside England please!

Facts
Journalists, by definition, are expected to bite on way more than they can chew. Be reasonable.

Love to see you guys talking about Atleti. Great video
Colin Millar crazy ball knowledge on Atleti btw
This aged well after the win over Barcelona. Atleti is on fire!
I might be crazy but I think Atletico is a Champions League contender
They are now that Le Normand is back and the squad maybe has the best depth in Europe

but we have to more that, RM and Barca is not stable this season. Of course ATM is excellent this season, but i think the best version is 2013-2014.
20/21 could be argued as the second best over this current run

@@diegodadog14 oh a good idea. May be based on opinion. 2015-2016 also peak of Griezmann, and in La Liga MSN is too strong
@@ImHzrd no i do not think so. 20/21 RM is not strong and meet 64 injuries cases. Barca is bad
@@OurFootball365-x6e okay fair if we’re looking at it that way than 13/14 clears tbh. 15/16 is close even without any silverware to back it up
I need to watch more of Athletico games.
Let's gooo colchonero coverage
Why was yesterday's podcast on Wolves' new manager not uploaded to TH-cam?
No, the best version is still the 2013/14 Atleti
Yeah!
Come on Diego, Julian, Rodrigo, and all!!!!!!!
Yeah Atletico isint just winning their matches like how these guys are saying it ... Atletico are literally playing better than Barca and Madrid , they arent just luckly winning their matches they are actually playing good
Morata is just trash the same as Joao Felix, there is NO shame to put in Simeone because this 2 players didn't reach Elite status
Ayo, blink 10000000 times if you like Football
❤️🤍

Jaou is the worst. Selfish and inconsistent. 🤮
Who do y’all think would be the best replacement for Diego Simeone?
Nobody is thinking about that…
