Everything here is practical and usable in game (some more than others), as well as basically required to be truly good at this game. Frothy's are really good as well, but he leaves a lot for you to learn on your own if I recall correctly, and tutorials are seperate videos. This is now my go to new player recommended video guide along with Frothy's. Everyone says in a certain amount of time BUT nobody ever says WHEN that timer starts. Does it start as you start to LEAN away from the wall when you land in it? When you are fully ON the wall in full lean? Even This doesn't mention it. So far after nearly 2 years of trying I still can't hit the timing so I'm wondering is there somethign else going on maybe in the settings that is literally Stopping me from hitting that timing? If I jump as early as you do in that first wall kick demo I actually DON'T jump off the wall, I have to press spacebar again. Could it be refesh rate of the monitor effecting it? Ghosting on keyboard? Or anything else in settings? At thsi point i'm wishing for a mod that increase the timing to anytime on the wall cos i wanna go fast but can't.

So it's a 60 fps lock on SP (console), And for multiplayer, the ping for me is 150. The real question is if the framerate is low, will it be harder or easier to get a wallkick or other movement mechanics.
So does playing the game at 144fps give me a frame disadvantage as opposed to 60 because of the smaller windows? Or is the tick rate not tied to frames? Love your content and super stoked to see recent tutorials. Keep it up.
Good question! I will be addressing this in the future but I should have said ticks instead of frames. Titanfall 2 single player is 60 tick (unlike mp)
@@AtharvGoel this is incorrect. Everything in this video is 1:1 with multiplayer. The only difference between mp and sp movement is that the base player speed is slightly faster in mp. Iirc it's around 3% but I can't be sure
Yes, but actually no. Tf|2 runs on "Gold Source". It is an entirely new Engine that copied the 'good bugs' (like Air strafing, b-hopping, etc). Ucould see it as a Improved Source engine, but in reality its an entirely new Engine.
A little detail I wasn't sure on, when you're slidehopping and you switch strafe direction - e.g. from a to d - is it important if you keep pressing a while you start to press d, or if you stop pressing a and then start pressing d?
Dont press them at the same time! U mostly want to switch between a and d while pressing ur jump key. So while b- or slidehopping u almost always want to swap while u hit the ground. While inputting a jump ur aircontroll is slightly higher with means that u get more of a curve if u input jump and strafe at the same time. More strafing means more SPEED
