Great egg salad recipe. I used real crab instead of “krab”. Also added a little cayenne pepper and fresh dill. Delish!

My mom used to use real crab meat and they were to die for. You can buy tinned crab. Also the eggs were from their own hens.

It's interesting. I think I found the original recipe in Korean, here in Spain this is not very common.

@@casserola_club I agree that edges should be cut off and that one should salt the sandwiches and keep them in plastic in the fridge a while, gives another texture, more like 7/11 :-)) Crab sticks are ok and they have an advantage. People who are allergic to seafood do not get ill from them since they do almost never contain any crab, only fish. Some finer japanese surimi can contain seafood, but these are rarely found outside Japan.

7-8 minutes starting in a cold pan will result in barely soft-boiled eggs. Get a steamer basket, start a little water boiling in the bottom of the pan (enough so it won't boil away before the eggs are done), place the eggs in the steamer basket into the pan and steam for 10 minutes for medium hard-boiled eggs. A little less for softer, a little more for harder. Works every time.
My quick egg sandwich recipe, put 2 eggs in bowl in micro for 1:20, use spoon to cut up egg & add tablespoon of mayo, put on wonder bread, salt & pepper, cut In half. Done

El reposo en el frigorífico hace que los sabores se mezclen unos con otros. No es un paso obligatorio pero le sienta muy bien al sándwich. Saludos!
Se podría entonces preparar el relleno y llevarlo al enfriador el tiempo que sugieres, y pasado este tiempo montarlo en el pan❤

Agreed. And cutting off the crusts only makes them look fancy, not taste better. I'm not going to waste time wrapping them in cling film and refrigerating them, either. I'd just eat them. After all, the eggs and mayo were already refrigerated.

Everytime I make this simple item, it's different. Next time, I will mix the yolk & mayo first, to see the difference.
Just substitute that processed surimi crap for shrimp/prawn and you're fine.
The cling film looks to be the secret ingredient that makes them stand out from other sandwiches.( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I would have to butter the bread first.
I have to include celery, onion, and dill or it's not really egg salad.
