This video helped me out a lot thank you! The only thing I'm still not sure about is the air plumping. Did you just use a valve to switch the air from the air bags to the lift axle bags?
Hello, I need help please, Someone install steerable drop axle on my truck. When I test ride, the drop axle keeps turning right and makes the ride unstable. What can be the problem?
Could you please send a link to what kind of air valve you are using? Not sure what kind is required or if you are regulating air pressure? I’m just wanting to put a switch on the trailer and not anything wired to the cab. Thanks
Benjamin busch. Look up hendrickson akad2010-2. Thats what i put on mine. It allows me to control from the cab, and the trailer. Controlling from the cab is handy when getting into some tight towns. It also deactivates the brakes on that axle when it is up in the air, so you won’t scuff the tires if the tires happen to touch while braking. You can find similar control valves without the box cheaper. Frankly I found it took less time welding the lift kit on then it did to setup all my wiring, and air lines for the control box.
@@jorikb5865 i would say get some ones that bolt on not welded ones...i have a buddy that he did his own and he said DO NOT WELD THEM on the trailer it should already have holes to bolt right on...im not a mechanic but i am thinking about putting some axle lift myself
Looks a awesome. The detail makes it so much sweeter. Yo didn’t show us how u did your switch
Came out really nice driver ! I’ve been hoping someone would have put a video on bout this kit!
Nice 2 have them on all trailer axles!!!! They wrk excellent for turning & for running lite loads or empty
😊Zr😷💘👙🎉👬
Put U sum loom around the air lines to add protection from rubbing. It will save U from having wear on them on the suspension
I want to lift my back axel so I can turn better. Still not sure on how these are plumbed though,

Im sorry this is older footage and I wanted to upload it. I will make a video on maybe a little visual on how I did it!
What web site did you order form?
What size is that ceter mud flap, and what store did you get from thx 😊

So its designed to push on the brake chambers, is that correct 🤔 Can the brake chambers support that weight 🤔
How do u control the lift
Wow that's awesome
Came out awesome man!!! But when are you gonna show us the sweet ass cabover dude!!!!!!!!
Ill be dropping a bunch of videos soon! Promise
Were did you get that front flap? Looks good and it would protect the air lines
EBY dump trailer flap. Wrap around weights on everything!
Where did you find the kit? Looks great
Online! Basic google search
Can you get the bolt in your brake chambers to cage the spring? It looks like it's pretty tight.
Im not sure why I never thought of that but some basic tools can disassemble the bag bracket if need be!

I used two separate switches. One for the 120 psi air for the lift then one to turn on and off air supply to the bags from the level valve
Yes you are absolutely right , I watch Super Trucker Dan and he has a video on how he set up a switch in the cab on his orange Pete
Can you make a video of lifting and dropping the axle
Possibly. I currently do not have the trailer at the moment.
how would you do to do change the brake chamber?
I was thinking same.
But I believe His brake chambers are unbreakable. He doesn’t need to change them 😂😂

Did u put a separate valve for the lift
Yes
What valve you used?
Two eaton dump valves! Separately, was cheaper and easier option
You didn’t show how to install lines and selenoid
Id get a split axle except i can't back it into my yard. I could if I could lift the back axle. You think i could? I'll keep watching.
Definitely no brainer! Loose possibility 10 feet of wheel base and the spread fighting you!
Looks like it'll be a pain in the ass to change the chamber!
Was not bad actually!
Looks like will be s pain taking off your brake chamber
Not too bad honestly
@Dylan Giere is this kit UBL-004?
Good job Mr dookie welds 😂
