I had planned to save it for the rest of the year after Anniversary, but then Summer Kama came along, and now Musashi out of nowhere...At least I got Musashi with the monthly tickets so I'm happy. And since no banners interest me for the next few months, I'm going to save it until the next Castoria rerun.
After she has repeatedly drained me of SQ in every banner, I finally summoned her 2 days ago. Nearly got her to full ascension and am currently working on leveling up her skills.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the hilarity that the two gorilla-sabers that have berserker versions, Musashi and Ibuki, lose their triple buster deck when becoming berserkers?
If you take anything away from this, it's that Musashi Saber in FGO is a pretty damn good unit. Not really worth breaking the bank over but if you got the spare quartz lying around and you want to roll, do it and you won't be disappointed. Also play Samurai Remnant, it's a solid game for what it set out to do.
She is pretty much unusable all year until ordeal call releases, you will probably be disappointed if you summon her now. Even for the monthly CQ you are probably better off just picking a support.
I just roll for one copy of her to reach NP3 yesterday. 2 tickets. Now I don't know what to do with my other dps characters. I have a team that allows she to do around 6'1M . Truly a beast. Now I only need the next year rank Up and maybe a remnant Sprite with animation changes. In other hand, thanks for your videos ZTL.
Tldr, Musashi is an atomic bomb with legs and a cute haircut. The amount of damage I can do with her in a double Koyanskaya set up is insane, and she probably singlehandedly helped me clear Lostbelt 2 (just starting 3)
I really think that the only saber that compares to her is Muramasa when it comes to who the best saber in FGO is, and then the discussion usually just devolves into “Muramasa better because he can farm” which isn’t really fair because that’s essentially like saying a hammer is a bad tool because it can’t screw in screws
It is only fair to use farming for comparison, the game is 99.9% farming. And musashi will be unable to see daily use until ordeal call releases. She will only see use in the monthly CQ that you can skip with commands. And there is the chance she won't even be good there if the cq is better tackled with aoes. A hammer is a bad tool of you are bringing it to a place with no Nails and only screws.
@@GS_CCC I understand that as a gacha game, the game is mostly farming and if a unit isn’t great at farming then technically they’re not useful for a majority of the game. However, I’m tired of people immediately thinking “X servant can’t farm, so X servant is trash and not worth anything”. Musashi and other servants like her have value primarily in their ability to help you push through harder content that either can’t be looped or instances where you don’t have the OP supports to rely on (Merlin & Castoria for example). I love Muramasa, have him NP5, Lvl 120, max fous, and almost bond 10, but he can’t keep himself alive very well in boss fights without fox wife or little miss solemn defense. Which means the player possibly can’t advance in the story which not only locks them out of story based farming nodes, but also certain events that are far more efficient for farming. Similarly, Musashi is unarguably terrible at farming. She can technically do it, but I hope the node didn’t have to be done quickly. But back to my original point I wasn’t going to use her for farming, just like how I wasn’t going to use Murmasa for a prolonged boss battle. I’m gonna pick the servant that works the best for the situation. And in a game like FGO there’s a lot of situations. TLDR: Farming servants are great at farming, solo/anchor/boss killer servants are great at getting you to the best farming nodes. I’m just tired of people trying to use the same metrics to judge how useful a servant is when that isn’t its purpose and then saying because it can’t compete in that category it’s useless. In FGO you need a lot of different types of servants in order to get you through the game, so discussion should be more flexible about what servants are good
@@headhunterhades3816 you need to remember that in most of the story you can simply use commands and blue cubes to revive and complete it without trouble and most nodes are simple 3 enemies multi wave nodes, so in the end a servant like muramasa will make the history quicker and easier to complete in general, you can just pick a CQ servant when the need comes. CQ focused servants are only really worth it for bosses that you can't pick a non history support, but I really can't say it makes sense to get one when you can simply get a full team revives. yes, we should dismiss servants who are useless as useless. there will be countless new player who will end up summoning some garbage character that they won't ever use like super Orion over some nonsensical hype instead of a decent character they like more.
After getting Van Gogh np2 being happy and broke I tried to pull her anyway coz of the hotness level, she and my Jealter will absolutely destroy bosses. I got pretty much every Buster support so... Worth it, absolutely
Hi bro, too much diference between NP3 and 5? I'm planning to do it in the future but first I need my revenge against Mothman. Even with that, the NP3 is a delete button, I can't imagine what a NP5 can do. Also congrats, fellow Musashi enjoyer.
my biggest problem with ST servants is there is no repeatable quests to use them in. it feels like they have severely limited usage because of that. I think they need to do something like dokkan where they add some permanent content because i love dioscuri as a unit they are so fun but there is no place to bring them because there is no repeatable ST content. its simpler to just bring arjuna alter and let him melt everything because most nodes are not 1-1-1. I feel like all the best ST units are stuck in B tier because of that. Its a good unit without a place to use them. without all the content to use them in I could not justify A tier for myself. sure you can use them in story but its a 1 time use. ST are really hurt by Lasengle not making old events permanent with a the hardest fight being permanently there like dokkan does. Its why i get disappointed when they make ST units because unlike dokkan with multi target where we have places to use them. we really dont have repeatable places to use them.
We already have content for STs, JP has 1T 1Enemies nodes on ordeal call that you can do 3 times a day. They already fixed the problem. Now only CQ only servants like QSH and holmes that are still completely useless.
Jeanne has higher base damage and also has an atk buff so she stacks better with oberon/koyan since they lack atk ups and lacks the 10% charge to use S.abigail for the extra damage.(they could also add a berserker node that both benefit) Musashi has the benefit of having class advantage, but who knows when they will add a lancer 1T node to Ordeal call. But gameplaywise there are way better options.
Problem with Musashi and Jalter is not that they are not good, it's the meta right now does not give them a lot of work. I like Van Gogh's kit a lot too and she's undeniably a good servant, but even with her ability to play as a support, I don't use her much, I get her out for occasional CQ's and some stages in story campaign and events but not much more than that and she's stuck at bond 6. You talked about this in the problem with ST servants video already after Wandjina release but this applies to Musashi and Jalter too.
Van gough is bad example. She’s the best boss killer for both of my accounts. Incredible support too. Berserkers and foreigners are common so she far more useful then a single target saber. Musashi isn’t even in the level of Saito imo.

With 3 ordeal call quests a day, in a week you will have done it 21 times, probably way more than the number of CQs she could be used in that year.
