I LOVE his music, especially "Every Tribe" since I'm a Native American from the Zuni Pueblo Tribe. THANK YOU for that. We sing Joshua Aaron's songs at our nursing home outreaches as some Jewish folks attend our services. We usually end it with his song "David Danced"...and WE dance! I always get choked up, dancing before the glory of our Lord. 😊

The miracle of Hanukkah is that when the temple was liberated from the Greek there was only enough oil for the menorah for one day, but once lit it kept burning for eight days. Hence the festival celebrates oil and fried foods are enjoyed, namely 'Sufganiot' (donuts) and 'Levivot' (potato Latkes). When lightning the candles every evening a prayer is recited, followed by singing 'Maoz tsur' before dinner.

What a small world, Boxwood. The other singer, Joshua Aaron is the one who is Jewish and sings in Hebrew too. Aaron Shust is his friend and simply accompanied him in this small concert. It was such a blessing meeting both of them, and hear about their lives. God bless you and we send our greetings from Nazareth Israel.

Really appreciate you effort to promote a Messanic Jew, even though you are not one among them. This is really something that is missing in christian community now. You are doing your gospel work without criticizing others. Usually preacher of one denomination will spend half of time complaining about what they don't like or believe in another denomination. Protestants complaint about Catholics and other apostolic churches, and vise versa .. People will be having different views, so will be different forms of worship. At the end, the center of all is Jesus. And that is more important. And the unity of these christian denominations is what Christ longs for.

I believe the reason why the menorah has 7 candles is to tell which day of the week it was. we should remember that in ancient times people didn't have digital watches or even clocks. To keep time using a calendars was probably hard to do and required the most senior priests to oversee. Should even a tiny mistake be made in telling what day it is, this could throw off entire shipments of valuable goods that were being shipped out to other parts of the world. Therefore, most likely the keeping the calendars was the duty of the temple priests. The menorah was an integral part of the priest's duties, to make sure the candle was lit to signify the correct day of the week. In fact, temples thousands of miles away could be coordinated in this manner.
When someone in Ancient Israel wanted to see what day it is, they went to their nearest temple to see which candle on the menorah was lit. If one candle was lit then it was Sunday, if two candles were lit it was Monday, and so on. Ancient Egypt actually had two calendars; one was ten days long and the other was 7 days long, which was the Hebrew calendar. :)

Oh dear siblings in Yeshua..... Joshua Aaron is/are the only Hebrew Messianic singers I know! I even gave away my CDs - that has the song he sang on it SHABBAT SHALOM! -- to my catholic born-again S.Korean war bride hair stylist! and Sue plays it all day long for her customers, has her bible out - we bible study as she is doing my hair! - so I was hoping it was going to be Joshua Aaron whose concert you were going to!!! had fingers and toes crossed! That car ride was scary!......like driving a bus on island of Capri! This was WONDERFUL!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Rhoda, Bella - you two are troopers! John and I laughed ourselves silly with the paper menorah! I moaned, "oh nooooooo!!! don't light it!!"
    hahahahaha This was superb.
Again, beloved siblings, all four of you, thank you immeasurable for the work, time, money, creativity you use in bringing the Holy Land to Life for us, many of us who have never been to or seen it.......mores the pity. We love you and thank you with all our hearts and wish you peace and health, joy and God's protection, and a very Happy Chanukah and Merry Christmas.

I'm from South Carolina, and I already have a love for Joshua's music. I love the video where he sings with his daughter while they are walking through the streets. I first found him via his Hebrew version of How Great is Our God on TH-cam, and I especially loved the scenery as he walked through an open market and eventually on the temple mount singing this great song of praise. I have wondered since then why it is Gadol Elohai vs. Gadol Elohim if he believes in the trinity. I'm assuming that Elohai is the singular version of Elohim (plural). Thanks again as always for a great video. The driving reminded me of time I spent in college on foreign exchange for a semester in Paris. Your chauffeur did a wonderful job of driving and navigating the super narrow labyrinth of roads. I've found that it isn't nearly as scary if you just close your eyes whenever the car is in motion :) I love you guys! God bless you!

Thank you Sharon! His music is really awesome! Gadol Elohim means Great is God (plural), Gadol Elohai means Great is my God (plural). Otherwise it would be Gadol Elohi for singular. God bless you and much love to you!!

    Salvation in Yahweh's Sanctuary. Psa 77: 13.
The Menorah is a 7 lampstand LIGHT in the Holy Place.
The Menorah is a symbol of a born again SAINT.
The table of showbread is made of wood covered with gold.
No wood showing. This is a symbol of a born again person in a corruptible flesh and blood body.
Wood is humanity. Gold in divinity.
The Alter of incense is made of wood covered with Gold. This is a symbol of a born again SAINT.
The Menorah is made of solid GOLD.
The wood has gone and only GOLD refined in the fire remains.
This is a symbol of a born again SAINT who has received their incorruptible flesh and blood BODY in the resurrection Or changed in a moment at the second coming from corruptible flesh and blood to incorruptible flesh and blood. . 2 Cor 5 : 1- 5 .
Verse 6 says while we are in these corruptible flesh and blood bodies we are separated from The creator Yahweh.
    1 cor 15: 53 and 54 agree's.
The Menorah is a born again person who has a HOLY SPIRIT in them and a HOLY flesh and blood incorruptible BODY.
ONLY these will enter the presence of the creator Yahweh on Judgement day.
GOLD refined in the FIRE. So it is written.
On judgement day only Menorah's will enter the MOST HOLY PLACE into the presence of the creator Yahweh.
    So it is written.
NO sinner can or ever will enter the Holy Place.
The sinners walk around in the COURT of the Sanctuary all their lives and die in the COURT.
Sinners never sacrifice their lives in the alter of sacrifice in the COURT.
Rev 11: 1 . Yahweh's born again SAINTS are in the HOLY PLACE at this time. SAVED.
The sinners are outside in the COURT. LOST.
This scripture will be fulfilled at the time of the end.
So it is written in the inspired scripture.

Each branch on the Menorah has 9 Bud, blossom and fruit on it . 6 X 9 = 54.
The vine which holds up the branches has 12 bud, blossom fruit on it. 54+ 12 = 66.
The Menorah is the LIGHT / Truth of the world.
= 66 books in the bible.
    So it is written.

@yensii lopez Jesus would roll over in his grave if he knew what people did to his people in his name. He is a Jew who was whacked by the Romans. He was born a Jew, lived a Jew and died one. I don't think he is ever coming back. Have you seen his grave? Have you excavated his grave? -Blessings
