I'm starting to think Tkachuk's quick exit anti-celly is his way of telling his teammates "we don't get to celebrate until we lift the cup."

I was watching the game in a hotel room with a couple of friends but I passed out before the 3rd overtime because I was so tired. I regret not staying awake to watch the amazing gosl though
The thing about Tkachuk is that he is doing the little things no one else does to enable those big moments to happen.
Like his dad Keith. He is a grinder. Not the fastest or strongest but he always in your face making your life a living hell.
Because he’s not good enough to get by without doing it😂

What a goal for Sacha....it made me think about a Lafreniere goal were he sort of pass the puck to himself I think it was very weird....can he have pass the puck to himself from behind his skates or something...anyway ...beautiful. I found the goal he pass himself the puck from his back between his legs to himself:))))
To each his own, I guess. I find Steve's antics and overly expressed emotions very irritating. Came to see if he's changed but nope, same old.

The bigger hat pick is the record of both the Knights and Panthers being the exact same against their opponents currently.

Barkov is the modern day Pavel Datsyuk. Change my mind
Datsyuk had better hands, but it’s close. Also a better two way game, but once again, it’s close. Thing that Datsyuk has a huge lead on is his hockey IQ.

Barkov is bigger and has more physique.
I remember a time when Horton, Huselius and Weiss were supposed to be the future of Florida.. Man we been through a lot sense those days.

@@analbeats I remember one game Bure had a hat trick and we went up like 5-0 and still found a way to lose that game. It was just unfathomable how bad this franchise was in the 2000's. We were at the point where they would give away tickets in local magazines. This team has been threw the lowest of lows that I never thought we would come this close to another SCF appearance.

The Hurricanes vs Panthers series has been too close to not go 7. All the Hurricanes needed to do those first 3 games was just be a little bit more lucky and they'd have won. Insanely close 3 games

And now the Florida Panthers are one win away from their first SCF since 1996. But Carolina hasn't won an ECF game since, probably 2006? They need to focus on just winning one game if they want that streak to end.
In the Quadruple OT, it looked like the clearing attempt hit the referee before Tkachuk picked it up and buried it for the winner. We talk about him and Bennett rubbing it in the faces of Flames fans, but Reinhart and Montour are doing the same to Sabres fans.
Edit: Vegas is also one win away from a sweep. The Denver Nuggets sweep the LA Lakers in the NBA WCF, both NHL CFs look like sweeps, and despite losing Game 4 to the Boston Celtics, the Miami Heat are still one win away from winning the NBA ECF.
Panthers should trade Bob in the off season to the Leafs. they need a goalie

Bobrovsky denifintely should win conn smythe if florida wins. Ktachuck been great. Bob has been the difference.
I'm a long longtime bruins fan, when the Panthers came back to eliminate the B's I figured Panthers would have trouble, they're on an amazing run, and Bobrovsky's a stonewall, it really looks like destiny for the Panthers, their streak has become a psychological asset as well as great play, if they knock out canes whoever's next will have their hands full, I still like Vegas but Florida's making a believer out of me.
All those laughing at the B's after we lost, esp. Toronto and Carolina, aren't laughing now...
I wonder if this performance from Bobrovsky will lead to goalies getting paid more…

Howden clipped Oetter's skate on that Game 1 OT goal. I don't understand why it wasn't challenged, because that clearly caused Oetter to not be able to be in position resulting in the goal.
Also, just put a picture of the Stars roster on the screen as a Dang-It this week. They have not played to their own level this series, and it's extremely disappointing. (Suter, Benn, Domi, etc., just the whole damn team)
