- In what appears to be a Raising Cane's dupe, Walmart is selling frozen Famous Chicken Fingers. I hated these when I air fried them but was told I just HAD TO deep fry them. Let's do it and compare.

I mean you can kinda go half and half in a way just spray some oil on the fingers before you air fry them its not the same as deep drying but its not as bad as air frying either

I personally like the chicken fingers from guthries. Better than raising canes. Raisin canes really has no flavor.

Honestly, when I have to eat some great value nuggets I eat it with chic-fil-a and pretend it's a Wendy's star 😂 fools my brain into thinking it's real! Lol
I can't do uncooked chicken tenders....never had a good experience with them. Used to buy the 5 pound box from Sam's and they were never good and just sat in freezer

Probably better if you put a light dusting of your favorite seasoning blend right out the deep fryer. Chef Merito chicken seasoning goes good on fried chicken.

You should try spraying or brushing on a thin layer of oil before air frying.
I’m sure it’ll help ever so slightly but these things are still oily af on their own

I need to consider getting a deep fryer. I’ve always been worried about getting burned with the oil though.
Don’t concern yourself there that’s a tough thing to do. It stinks up your place a bit. If you have windows to crack and mitigate it or run the fryer outside, problem solved. Frozen stuff also pops up more than thawed. You could pop fully thawed wings in this with almost no bubbling.

I have an air fryer oven snd honedtly never use it. I nust deep fry everything. Much better
I cannot find that sauce anywhere where I live. It won't even let me buy it in the website, it says unavailable. Did Raising Canes sue them or something? Been wanting to try it. 🤣
lol it sells out apparently but I gotta imagine at least one of your stores has it. I’ve found it a couple of times digging behind the “chicken dipping sauce” and looking up higher at where they restock from
I'd love to get a deep-fryer but where I'm living, there's no way. I gave Cane's another try and still disappointing. I'd rather buy the ones I get from the Hot Deli at our local Pick N Saves.
I will say I agree with the comments, though some prepackaged chicken does not air fry as well.
Some people say that brand sucks but I like it 👍🏾
