- Today, in the Titans Family kennel, we caught some scenes with one of our specimens. At first, the Caucasian Shepherd proves to be a wonderful protection dog, you can see him barking at the fence when a stranger approaches. At the same time, he can become your best friend. He's displaying the level of commitment, despite having just riled the
dog. This is a revealing insight to the level of stress the animal can

It is a very impressive display that both reveals the owner's confidence in their bond and the dog's dedication and temper. The dog's playfulness while still being on alert for the "trespasser," and his human blindsiding him and acting overly assertive and aggressive is to show the audience the dog's extremely solid temper and is completely for the audience's understanding.
This is a very solid single family breed that can easily kill a man and multiple dogs. These dogs require years of loving care to establish a bond like this, eat a ton, require much grooming, and are extremely difficult to transfer ownership of, most times it is better to put it down than try to give it away. Most breeders won't even sell you one unless you can display another well trained animal.
Totally agree with you the bond is very important I have a Caucasian second one now at the age of 2 and a half she showing the stubbornness side of a caucasian but a strong dog handler it's no problem whatsoever

Some are misunderstanding this video. What this breeder is showing, while testing the dog, is the dogs dedication to guard the gate even when distracted. I've seen this dog in action, if he was mad he could and would easily tear this guy to shreds.
But the dog won't do nothing to him won't turn to threads not at all as a Caucasian owner second one now and they like to play rough but one might seem harsh to other people it's not it's all play before anybody disagrees I've had two and currently got one and they love roughness what he expect it's a fucking bear dog

Haters need to take a step back before they insult the owners. I have personally been dealing with them personally and will be flying out to romania to purchase our puppy to join our family later this year. All my dealings with the breeders has been professional and the standard of their pups are far better than i anticipated the level of professional service,knowledge and genuinity are the qualities i look for when it comes to family!looking forward to raising my ovcharka pup here in UK. It is very nice - that a dog has a space for moving!!!This breed is very muscular and they need space for moving...One of my neighbours had a Caucasian,,, On a chain...He was ssoooo impressive!!!And he died at 3.5 years because he was at chain.....

This dog gets so angry at seeing a stranger, that it'll bite it's owner, by mistake.
They are doing their guard job, the relationship with the owner is totally different than with strangers.

Pan la un un an,, un an și jumătate trb sa fii mai sever, cauta sa fie dominant, dacă nu scapi de sub control pan un an și jumătate (maxim) nu o sa mai ai progleme niciodată!!! Adică trb sa fii sever pan la un an și jumătate ca cauta sa domine,, ii un câine de teritoriu.

1)este foarte cuminte fata de familie
2)este rau fata de straini ii musca daca intra.
3)nu are frica nici fata de oameni nici fata de caini chiar daca sunt mai multi.
4)nu ii place sa se intoarca acasa cand il scoti la plimbare.

Individuals will vary greatly, has little to do with breed. My dog was completelly fine with gunfire and crackers, he hated motorcycles of all kinds though. I know someone used his CO (no particular training other than tagging along) to find and pin down a moose (free ranging find and pin), just like a specially bred moose hunting dog. And keep the moose in check good enough for a safe kill shot.

These dogs are not for everyone. I live in the west and I would be too scared to have this dog. People in the west are stupid and they always come right up to a strange dog, especially if they look like teddy bears, and want to pet and hug them. Where I live dog bites are always the fault (legally) of the dog and the owner no matter what is done to the dog to cause it to bite. Im afraid dogs like this are too much of a liability for the average owner.
That being said, they are the most beautiful and amazing dogs in existence. CONGRATULATIONS!
john harland that's why I make sure my siblings always ask before the pet. my rule is stay 5-10 feet away from any dog and ask the owner to pet first and always let the dog sniff you before petting

That dog fights bears, it is not like it hurt the dog, it is a giant dog, he was just playing ruff the dog was having fun.
Yeh, but just cos the dog is big (cos they are) doesen't mean you have the right to take the dog to levels of stress perhaps to perhaps so that the dog doesn't like but puts up with it because this person feeds it!!!! Gorgeous dog though - my oh my! As for fighting bears, now that's stupid. Even a tiger would fall foul to a bear let alone this dog - one swipe with the bears paws and the dog is gone. Also, the bear is fast enough to chase the dog down and eat it. They run at 35 miles per hour with all that weight bearing down on anything it would fall!!!
I have a 250 pound Kangal and I do that all the time, the bigger the dog the more rough you play with them, trust me it doesn't hurt the dog at all it's just fun and games the dog will tackle you and slam you to the ground also but it's just playing with you ..

These qualities make it a good watchman, who does not think, who is an enemy and who is friend, not letting anyone in the area. What are you talking about? They are widely used as sheep dogs. They protect sheep from wolves.
Ummm no Caucasian Shepherds are one of the oldest breeds out there and they like most dogs won't bite their owners.
Any dog who has dominance issues or excessive possessiveness can bite for food but you need to and can easily solve that issue when they're puppies.
Caucasian Shepherds are absolutely teddy bear like with their families.

This dog is only 2 years old lets see if out genius friend here will be doing that to the dog when the dog is mature like 6 years old. Even my patience would be cut short with him being an idiot.
