    What I like about your videos is you acknowledge your mistakes and you don't edit them out.

    They are a quality mill and do take some time to assemble. Enjoy your mill my friend. Oh, remember to lower your log stops as you get lower. Guess how I know...

    Can't wait! Especially when it comes time to flip the height gauge measurement scale to face back toward the operator...I *think* it's on backward anyhow, lol

    Nice setup Brock. Be fun watching you put it to work. Great idea elevating it up instead of working on the ground .

    Good evening Brock. I'm late today. The wife and I (Yes, someone actually thought that I was worth marrying. ) spent the Easter weekend in Indiana with our oldest grandson, his wife, and our two great granddaughters. We were on the road 9 hrs. today and just got home about an hour ago so I'm running late today. You did a great job on your sawmill. I do have a suggestion for you though. Maybe you could have Paul come over for the maiden voyage of the sawmill. Just an idea. God bless you and your family. 👍👍😊

    Hi you should put some métal x’s between each legs on your Wood stand. So they stay square and strong . See you on the next one

    I'd go over everything one last time to make sure it is level with the cutting head in all positions. Check all of the bolts one last time as well.
    @Sawing with Sandy had a couple mods he had done to the log stops and clamps to keep them from falling on the ground when adjusting. Might look into that.

    That brought back some memories of setting up my mill. As soon as the frost is out of the ground and the mud goes away, I'll be back out there running it again. Can't wait to see yours in action. I like your stand. Looks solid and appears to be at a good height. Mine is set lower, but still on a temporary base. Hopefully I'll have everything moved to a permanent location this summer. Still need to do some dirt work and leveling for the chosen area. Good luck with your new mill!

  • @fz1205
    @fz1205 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Good job but, one question: Why you put the rails so high on the levelers? I think it is more stable if you level them as low as possible on the base.😊

      I was actually planning to do corny jokes through the whole thing. I did the one at the beginning, and then kind a lost my fun spirit as it turned into a long day putting it together.
