It’s far from a below 200 dollar prized rtr this way 😅. However it’s a very capable drive now. Got mine 2 weeks ago. Brushless version. Upgraded the servo with a good full metal spare one I hadn’t used yet. And 1.3 brass wheels om the original tires. Now need to find some time to take it out on the trail soon looking for some challenges to conquer… 😊 enjoy!
Hi Daniel, really great video thank you. I have just purchased the same model and I would like to make it more narrow. Can you explain how you did that? Do you have a link to the axles you purchased? Thanks in advance!
@@daniels_199 Ah that makes sense! So the actual axle body is the same across both platforms, its just wider stubs and hexes for the evo pro? Thank you for the quick reply
Tolles Video, klasse Fahrzeug! 👍
Danke für das Feedback - ich bin immer noch happy damit!
Welcome my friend. Your Evo-Pro is very stable, good job with the modifications.
It seems I didn't ruin it - I was a bit afraid of this

I also have a very good FX118 - as you might know from my channel - but this one yesterday made me smile big time!
I am hooked on the CR-18P Platform.
Great Daniel, You are the mini Guru!
Thank you Francesco - I wish I had bigger driveable rock in Winter ;)
Wow looks so good dude!
Thank you - It looks even better now ;)
All In - dreambuild!
Danke!

@@willge7304 you just need the narrow axle stubs and hexes from a standard CR-18P or FX118

@@willge7304 exactly
How was the servo installation? Did the Kingmax fit without having to modify the servo mount? I'm considering doing the same. Thanks for the vids! 👍
I run 5mm spacers with the hobbyplus aluminum mount and the Cedar
Who did you get the steering links from? Thanx...
Furitek FX118 parts
What pinion gear do I need for the using the cedar?
I ordered a Cedar for FX118 so the pinion was installed
What axles did you go with?
Narrow Aluminim Hobby Plus housings - but not really required!
I didn't get the Evo pro because of how wide it was so this is good to know
@icee753 the FX118 with EVO Rails is the more clever buy ;)
How many inches wide do you think this is?
Below 5 - but I am a metric boy
Where did you get the overdrive from, please? Thanks!
Furitek - I have a full video on overdrive
Hobbyplus sells front replacement portal gears that delivers 20% overdrive up front.
Wahnsinn, das nenne ich mal Flex😅
Geht gut das ding!
