I agree with what @souperbs said - I want mockingbird in a list like Rogues or Humans where I can invest 1-2 mana tops into a whole sleep of utility and lord creatures. Copying something like Skyclave Apparition is even appealing to me. It's less so to copy a Floodpits Drowner or Faerie Mastermind at Sorcery speed.
