- Attractiveness is in the eyes of the beholder or is it not? Whether or not you think you are attractive, there are some common traits that make you more attractive than you think! For example, when you see success as more than just work, it already makes you an attractive person. Or if you're super nice to everyone, or when you are humble and show gratitude... These little habits make you attractive. Sometimes, it is not just about looks.

I’m not good at conversation because I don’t exactly relate to my schoolmates as much, so a lot of the time (during our school free time like at lunch) I’m just standing there listening to everyone else talk to each other. I don’t really get to hang out with my friends as much as I like, and they usually hang out with each other, so I literally almost never know what they’re talking about.

but everyone thinks im annoying and that I'm rude when im way nicer than them and im super kind and help people but its like they are blind even when i do it in front of them but they dont say anything

I feel like I can relate to this. My personality is very “loud” but not in a bad way. I’m always open and expressive to others around me, and I’m always ready and wanting to meet new people and make new friends. I’m always social and very socially active when I’m around others, although sometimes it can be a little difficult because sometimes people will always be rude about how loud and goofy and expressive I am. But I’m proud of my personality and I think it’s a good one, and I feel like people like me more because I’m always open and very supportive.

I see several of these traits in myself…and yet I’m always someone’s second choice, or nobody’s choice.
Look at it this way; it's their loss and those people probably weren't worth your precious time and precious energy, anyway.
Go meet more people who will appreciate 👏
I think as I'm becoming more open to the world, more comfortable with myself and other people, I'm becoming a really attractive attractive personality. Recently I've been to a cool festival where I might have not looked very cool in terms of clothes and makeup (which i don't wear) but people still liked as I wasn't afraid to talk to them and be friendly. At some point I felt ugly but then the most beautiful girl fell in love with me and now I just know that it's not always about the looks.
I hope I'll carry this on

I wish I was a better listener but my thoughts, some extra noise & certain dialects from customers with distant backgrounds get in the way sometimes. I guess being able to communicate at all is still a good thing though in the long run.

Personality is more important because that what keeps love going. It's what you like about that person. Looks will fade one day, so they're only a perk. It's fun to explore a person's personality because they have so much you want to know and it's good to do that in order to establish a good relationship with any person. Whether it's a Platonic or romantic relationship

I think all apply to me except I'm kinda bad at conversations. I tend to become somewhat of narcissist but I just really want to keep the conversation going just not in the best way ie low key bragging.
I feel everything is fixed in my life How different my outer world becomes
There's a guy I go to school with and he's in one of my classes. He always says hi to me and gives me a high five when he sees me. He includes everyone because he knows what it's like to be excluded. It makes me smile, because I'm so shy and quiet that I get excluded super often. In 7th grade, I had no friends and there were days that people would literally bump into me like they could walk through me, then I was the one to apologize. The exclusion would get so bad that, some days, I would question whether I really existed and it would bring me to tears. It would make my day when someone so much as smiled at me. I'm just glad I don't have to go through that anymore.
Another trait or habit I enjoy are those who don't mind doing learning and discussing those interests in a humble way

Doing a phd in personality psychology so I feel like I can comment on this 😂 - there are some traits that are generally well liked by most people, but everyone is so different that what one might see as an attractive trait in one person is different to what someone else might think.
For example: I really like people who are open minded but I definitely know people who don't consider open mindedness to be on top of their list! (Like my parents)

For No. 2: I am typically “kind to the waiter”, but cannot hold back what I believe in even if it’s unpopular, not to mention I hate small talk. When some people just tell me “hey” or “how’s it going?”, I really want to skip it, or not do I over and over again. I don’t like to talk to people just for the sake of talking. I’ve been told this is due to my introversion, social awkwardness, Major Depressive Disorder, but most peculiarly my “neurally atypical” brain. I seek information, ideas, and action, I don’t want a foundation in a relationship just built on pleasantries… is there something wrong with me?

To me, I think personality and looks are both generally equally important. Just like how the Greek goddess Libra holds a balance, I think of the exact same thing when it comes to dating: you can't have more of one over the other. They should be balanced!

@@fat9457 Nooo. Absolutely not. You can't have more than what you can't do (i.e.: if your personality isn't the best, to me it's pointless to get surgery, because it might just worsen your face). That's what I'm saying.
