In my opinion, What I’m Made Of is one of Crush 40’s most inspirational heavy hitting rock song. Glad that Johnny holds even his older work in high regards!
you know Johnny Gioeli just fits as a composer for sonic the hedgehog. They literally have the same damn attitude. This man could literally voice king sonic if they ever made an animated version of sonic 30 years later.
Johnny sounds adorable when he tries to sound like a pre-pubescent kid. Not trying to insult him, by the way. I also have to mention that Johnny sounds quite like Owen Wilson when he talks.
6:00 - 6:08 Huh, so Johnny does know a bit about Ebenezer Scrooge. 19:58 - 20:01 Like how a Disney Princess would sing by a window? Hahahaha, I just had to make those silly little comments. ^u^
I wish someone said to Johnny "Hey Johnny, I heard in an interview that you don't do any warmup scales to keep your voice in check. I'd like to know something about that. Is it because a) it's considered a waste of time, b) it will make you look and feel stupid or c) both."
I know, right?! Every single opportunity I've had to personally chat with Johnny and even just to say hi while snapping a brief photo together have been truly inspirational and are memories I will cherish forever.
13:04 Oh, so Johnny's like Roger Smith (the grey alien) from 'American Dad'. Everytime Roger has a change of clothes, his persona and mindset change as well.
"Did you ever wake up in the morning and was like: 'holy crap, I write music for a _blue hedgehog_ and all those people love me'?" XD If you were really the one to say this, you are a blue legend, my friend. QwQ Like holy crap, man, truer words have never been spoken X'D

Thanks for responding, Hiltonium. I found the answer later on in the video. I wish someone asked Johnny about his opinion on Sonic Forces and if he wished he had been the one to sing the main Sonic Forces theme. Or maybe someone should have asked him if he was originally going to be present in Sonic Forces, but only to sing a different main theme for Sonic Forces.
MysteriousGirl 92 He honestly might not have an opinion on Sonic Forces. I don't think he pays much attention to the series aside from the music he does for it
Yeah I don't mean to be rude to Nate Ruess of "fun" but hands down Johnny Gioeli would be better For that duet. I don't care what they say! I mean think about it they were been an abundance of awsome Sonamy and Sonally AMV's with that song. It already kind of fits now. I mean yeah sure there's probably some now but there would've been like twice as much! Plus I would count it as a rock song making the pop charts at a time where rock barely made the pop charts and all you really had were Neon Trees Imagine Dragons Fall Out Boy WALK THE MOON and panic at the disco. Which are good bands, but they were arguable whether they were legitimate rock bands. Not to mention it would've introduced more kids to frontiers records. And honestly not only was I in high school but I was a sonic freak when that came out. So the thought of Johnny Gioeli actually being in the top 40 hit at that time Woulda been fucking awesome!!!!!!
Johnny gioeli is hands-down one of my favorite Rock singers of all time he's so damn underrated!
I love when Johnny lists What I'm Made Of as his favorite song!
In my opinion, What I’m Made Of is one of Crush 40’s most inspirational heavy hitting rock song. Glad that Johnny holds even his older work in high regards!
@@Azure4Shore And I would agree myself because according to the comments, I too, love it!
I don’t think I’ve ever heard this man talk.
Nice.
This is not the voice I expected from hearing him sing Open Your Heart. He seems so witty and likeable
It is honestly like night and day hearing Johnny speak in comparison to his singing. Still manages to surprise me every time!
you know Johnny Gioeli just fits as a composer for sonic the hedgehog. They literally have the same damn attitude. This man could literally voice king sonic if they ever made an animated version of sonic 30 years later.
And according to the Sonic fans, rock music fits perfectly for Sonic.
4:49 Johnny Gioeli has an amazing rock star singing voice! 5:22
Johnny could literally be a comedian
Totally!
When you're a rockstar but also a game soundtrack composer.
Phacts
Thank you so much for recording and uploading this!!
It was my pleasure @Hiltonium!
Johnny sounds adorable when he tries to sound like a pre-pubescent kid. Not trying to insult him, by the way.
I also have to mention that Johnny sounds quite like Owen Wilson when he talks.
Not to mention, he almost sounds a lot like Jason Boyd of Audiovent and Freddie Mercury of Queen.
This video deserves more likes
Crush 40 version of Sonic X theme 'Gotta Go Fast' please.
6:00 - 6:08 Huh, so Johnny does know a bit about Ebenezer Scrooge.

What I'm made of is my favourite as well. Knight of the wind and I am all of me are close seconds.
I couldn't agree more @2mygreeneyes "What I'm Made Of" is one of my personal favorite Crush 40 songs too!!!
I wonder if Johnny has artist's block (similar to writer's block) every once in a while. Not that I would ever wish that on him, though.
"How about next year..." Yeah, no sorry Johnny.
I wish someone said to Johnny "Hey Johnny, I heard in an interview that you don't do any warmup scales to keep your voice in check. I'd like to know something about that. Is it because a) it's considered a waste of time, b) it will make you look and feel stupid or c) both."
Why is he lowkey relatable lol

When Johnny said he hated 'Green Light Ride', I thought he was serious. Haha. ^u^
Even I don't like 'Green Light Ride'.
1:01 thanks, I hate it.
