Vijay ,,,i do remember , we were playing a drama in my college , we had to go through multiple filters and act same script over and over more than 20 times before we stage in main event. i felt we didn't do that great in the final event , they same way i felt as you said...even i felt bored inside perform in the final event , but i didn't loose my courage on stage . perhaps we won the first price , our perfection and precision on stage were more appreciated due to the practice. ( 20 actors / 20 min drama / no dialogue ) , we realize that , we improved each time something over the course

Not all Tamil audience know how subtle and a expert Kamal Hasan is in lifting inspiring story sections, screenplays and technicalities from other master works all around the globe(Includes Indian works too) including Tamil poem writings. If not for ignorance of Tamil audience on matter related to global cinema and nuances of it and their tendency to fall for cheap gimmicks... Kamalhasan would have had his mask torn apart long back. While he is undoubtedly good actor.. He is an expert in picking hottest part of any subject and just skim the top layer of it.. and make collage and present it to Tamil audience like it was all his own findings... his mastery in copying is not only bound to his career.. even his social messages that he spills now and then follow the same patterns... this has been the case since 1990s... I used to be his sincere fan and admired him for being the only person to focus attention on other aspects of cinema and society... but it took me almost 15 years for me to know world better and to sense and recall that most of his work that I appreciated once and lauded him were already present in world cinema long before him... He is a very clever guy in copying and applying local flavor and also inject his touch so that it becomes very difficult for local audience... We have some thing called as plagiarism in universities.. unfortunately this is not done strictly in Indian universities... Kamal is an expert in that. He is a clever diplomat and cunning speaker where he always makes sure he speaks something about himself even when he goes to 'parattu vizha' of some other legend.. Illayaraja and field experts know him well in this matter.
