Growing up my grandparents had a boat we would all go out on Lake Erie or Belleville Lake. Those are some of my best childhood memories. Now just watching this video made me feel sea sick lol. I don’t see a boat in our future. How excyfor you guys!

It still looks and runs exactly the same as the day he brought it home lol This one woman crew who was able to raise my kids boating takes very good care of her Dads boat ❤️ So many beautiful memories 😍 my adult children still love to go with me when they can. I still turn heads at the boat launch.... 😂😂😂 and yes I do everything by myself including mechanical/maintenance. My Dad would be proud 🥲 hopefully I’ll have grandchildren to take someday. Oh wow, I live on Lake Erie too, just on the opposite side in 🇨🇦. Perch is my favorite fish. The fishing boats come right into port and we can by it fresh when the perch is running.
I used to fish Lake Erie out of Brest Bay, the same waters. When you’re not limiting out on walleye, keep some of the sheepshead. They get a bad rap for being some sort of carp, bottom dwelling fish, or just being readily catchable. Just pan fry the fillets with fish fry mix and oil. They’re delicious! Try some! Fish guts in the humus pile. Try a walleye night crawler harness drift rig.
So Fun! I love boating...did it a lot throughout my life. We are living back near the ocean again and so want to go out fishing - at least in the bay. That boat is amazing. I was amazed by the upper deck alone then BOOM! Lower deck, kitchen, bathroom, beds. It looks super fun and also relaxing.

Oh boy, Lake Erie is one tough lake. It’s shallow and when the wind blows it’s sea sick time. You can catch some great walleyes though. Nice boat!

I grew up on the eastern part of Lake Erie in Buffalo. I have such great memories of boating on that lake and on the Niagara River in the summer. ❤️🚤

When it go out on lake Erie I catch yellow perch in 50 to 60 feet of water
I don't think we have those depths anywhere close to us, maybe 30ft tops in a quick trip out

Put out more line on the anchor. Try to go 5-1 on depth to line out.
It's a windlass setup, and that's all the line that is on it. We're going to have to probably replace the line with something longer.
