The reason why sunusi was brought in the first place was to anger the former president Good luck Ebele Jonathan. He wasn't in kano emirate for a very very long time before they decide to bring him after his suspension as CBN governor.

In the quest for power, Nigerian politicians do not care what is destroyed, even if the society they seek to lord it over is destroyed, they wouldn't care.
How anyone would willingly attempt to destroy the traditions, culteure , and spirituality of the people over political considerations baffles me. Nations have advanced the cultural and traditional practices and institutions a dn have even created economic value (tourism) our of them. Ganduje make a terrible mistake deposing HRH SLS in the first instance. What is playing out in Kano is shameful to say the least.

While almost everyone tends to blame politicians for undermining the traditional institution, most of our traditional rulers 18:12 have made themselves so cheap to be bought by politicians 18:40.

The only solution is to return the stool to the original person selected by the Kano kingmakers after the passing of Ado Bayero. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was not the person selected, Kwankwaso overruled the choice of the Emirate council to spite president Jonathan. GEJ is gone but the bad politics played against him is still raging.....😢

People all over, blaming politicians for destroying the kano emirates. This thing is not only happening in kano emeirates. It happnes all over nigeria as long as a traditional ruler exists there. The tradtional rulers ha e to be blamed and nkt the polticians. They allow themselves to be used and bought by the politicians espcially during elections andnthat is what has giving rise to all these. These things started in 1999. In the military era/ regime, things like this were never there.

Blame the politicians !!!. Looking at the big picture, historically, the politicians pick and choose whoever will do their biddings . As most of us know, the Northern Emires have great control and influence over their subjects. Which ever direction they point, the entire population will follow. That’s simply the culture , and the politicians see this as a VERY USEFUL TOOL. Plain and simple !!!!!.
