I think it’s difficult to take a Godzilla and make it more Godzilla, which is why Tyrannomon stuff just wouldn’t work. WarGreymon has very iconic armour and weaponry that you can put Godzilla in and have it recognizable as an iconic Digimon (without also losing that it’s clearly Godzilla).
Just as a quick point of reference! The Godzilla the crossover digimon most strongly resembles is Godzilla 2000 with the purple CRYSTALINE spikes. Shin Godzilla is probably most known for having a purple glow at certain times but 2000 has those crystaline sharp dorsal spines. If we get another crossover monster similar to the Zinogre one, I really hope it's another of the main cast (Anguirus, Mothra, Rodan, King G). Some really cute sprites would be Megalon, Biolante, Gigan, Titanosaurus, and King Caesar. Of course there is a limited roster so we are a bit limited on choice.
I want to add a note for people that say that he looks more like the 2024 Evolved godzilla. 2000 is simply my opinion as I think 2024's spines look more like jagged dorsal plates like a stegosauraus, unlike the more crystal like dorsal spines on 2000. That just my opinion though.

Youre right. Also look at the glowing scar on its chest. It pays homage to the scar from Godzilla against MecaGodzilla/Tokyo SOS. What's interesting is in that movie they used the bones of the original Godzilla to make mecha godzilla. So maybe skullgreymon/Godzilla fusion?
The recent Godzilla movie Minus One is really good, I personally recommend it if you want to get into the franchise. Also I'm excited to see what they do with the devices, unlike the Monster hunter ones they're only showing the Silhouettes for the Godzilla ones so they might be keeping the designs a surprise till later whatever that might mean.
The Godzilla WarGreymon appears to be based on Burning Godzilla. Burning Godzilla is also seemingly the inspiration for the new mon Dinomon from Digimon Liberator. In Liberator, Dinomon is being used as a Tyranomon Mega. I wonder if they made this new mon a Greymon species because they already made a Godzilla themed Tyranomon recently. That and Greymon/Agumon is just the mascot of the franchise.
Zoids did a crossover with monster hunter not that long ago so im crossing my fingers they will make a zoids vpet. I have quite a few zoids models so it suits me 😂
What I could see Bandai doing is to draw the Initial Rosters of the V-Pets from the Digimon V5 devices and the Kaiju they were derived from, and add additional Monsters and Digimon on top of those for each Device, with newer Toho-Referencing Digimon and extra Exclusives like the Jogress that's been teased. It would tie back to the device's Roots nostalgically, and lets players pit the similarly-designed Monsters against each other!
The Godzilla fused with War Greymon seems to be Godzilla Evolved from the newest Godzilla x Kong movie. Which is probably why it looks familiar. Personally I think it's a cool combo. Reminds me of the weird manga Godzilla is in space with a sword and I'd rather the fusions be with iconic Digimon than Knock-Off-Godzilla with Godzilla.

Still hoping for the day Pokemon and Digimon collab, but I agree it is unlikely to happen for a VPet. I don't think it's impossible to see them collab though. I am sure people assumed it was impossible for Mario and Sonic to appear in a game together, but we got it eventually.

But yeah, I really hope that Digimon Color (or even standard LCD models) start getting the nod for these collaborative projects. My top pick, who I've been screaming to the rooftops ever since these were on the table, is a proper Kamen Rider v-pet. In my mind, the two version would be Decade and Legend, who both open up the ability to have Riders from all across the series, and the crossover Digimon could be ShinJustimon or something

So they finally got that Godzilla Vpet going from Toho. Wow Toho really is a lot more open to these collabs as of late, minecraft, dsve the diver. I think you'd enjoy the movies Humulus i've watched them all, i'm a huge Godzilla fan like i prolly said a couple of times before and yes, digimon always felt a lot more like Kaiju/mecha than something like Pokémon was supposed to be. This collab feels so... Natural?
Second comment sorry. Humulos if you want to get into Godizlla at all I highly recommend Godzilla Minus One and/or Shin Godzilla. Minus one is a period peice (just after WW2) and I would say more human focused, shin is set in modern day and more godzilla/horror focused so it depends on what you prefer. Both of them are good movies though.

Someone said dragon ball with space pod to baby saiyan to goku, vegeta etc. Fusion could replace the jogress mechanics. It is a simpler transformation tree but still worth the play.
I genuinely hope these new devices will support online battles, although that’s not guaranteed. At the very least, they can connect to your smartphone, allowing you to manage your “digi farm”.

I wanna know what digimon and pokemon are like in Japan, it's both their home country, vs in America at least, pokemon clearly wins. Fusion didn't finish the dub, we skipped appmon, 2020 got a dub too late in my opinion, and GG again it's too late, tri, kizuna and 2020 only got dubs because nostalgia bait. It would be cool to finally settle the age ole debate of pokemon vs digimon, and it would be perfect for a vpet. But outside of Japan, digimon is dead, I find it very hard to believe digimon is getting a new audience, compared to pokemon nowadays. Would love a pokemon vpet, and you could do a digimon X vpet, but with mega evolution. But it's not gonna happen unfortunately.

No worries. There were around 100 dubbed episodes and 4 old dubbed movies. They have recently got a new cast to dub some newer films too.
