I have this for drifting, over a year now, I like it ! When i was looking for a budget friendly transmitter my main goal was the lowest latency for the money and this radio is pretty good! I was digging for the latency info for a few day but there is a video on youtube somewhere about it.
Amazing video ❤ thanks for sharing this lovely video ❤ your voice is amazing ❤ you should have radio audition ❤ thanks for sharing this lovely video ❤ greetings to you from EGYPT ❤
I've been shreading with mine for a while! I like that it has all these features and even shows voltage for your rx. The more i dive in, the more i find. im confident im going to find a way to get gyro gain with a number read out. There has to be an option somewhere, lol . Also, the price you showed was probably the most I've seen it for tbh. I got mine shipped on Prime the same day for 64 bucks, lol. But still relatively in the same ballpark. I do like its size, and i even upgraded the wheel with a cool metal advan tri spoke looking wheel. Im a big fan of dumbo products, so i may move to the ddf350 on my redcat as well.
Dumbos tx’s have some of the worse latency I’ve ever felt in any controller. Imo there is only 3 brands with good latency for drifting and it’s flysky,Futaba and sanwa anything else is meh imho👍🏼
I use mine for crawling. I like the 4 ch built in antenna Rx for $12, and all the features. Not the easiest to navigate but i got used to it. Setup could be confusing for a Noobie but it was easy to figure out without reading the manual. 4ws is not the best w the thumb dial switch but it works, hope someone makes a 3d printed extension
Depends on the usage. For crawling/bashing, the GT5 is really nice. For drifting, this is clearly better. BUT - I honestly would recommend this over both of them, for someone looking to stay
It's very capable but the UI is terrible. If set to 'fast' during binding then it's also the fastest responding transmitter i have which is not a dedicated racing transmitter. all the important controls are there
to get around the imprecise value for ch3 you can set the dial at full and use endpoint adjustment to tune your gyro gain
Smart!
I meant to try that and forgot to! Good call.

Glad to hear from you Thomas. Hope you are doing well.
Very good info. Someone mentioned scale science yesterday at local hobby shop. Think i might fix my mst and try it out.
Awesome - hope you have fun!

Thanks for the feedback! I have heard multiple folks who are happy with it. Seems like a solid budget option.

this over the gt5?

@RoadsideRC for drifting. Seen the dumbo, doesn't really appeal to me.
@TEExCASH Curious - how does it not appeal?
@@RoadsideRC 1. Not readily in Canada 2. If I wanted something with a nice screen and stuff I would save for noble+
@@TEExCASH OK - do what you want. For basically the same price, it is a much better radio than the GT5 or the G7P...for basically the same price...
Hey I’ve got the dumbo rc 350 is there any tips on making the trigger feel like it’s got more resistance?
Sorry - I have not tried to modify that.

My experience as well . I like it but I probably wouldn't recommend it
Agree 100%. That is part of why I made that final recommendation.
ill stick to mt12
The MT12 is certainly a more powerful radio - no doubt!
@@RoadsideRC i wonder how range is on this radio (flysky)
I can't even update the firmware so go figure
:) I didn't even try.
Thats my issue too. But it was more so i couldnt get the flysky app to work on my pc
