Every band has its star or maybe its two stars and normally these will be the singer and the guitar player. But I feel that with Lovebites every band member gets her own recognition and is being loved and adored equally by the fans. And rightly so.

I wish everybody would stop comparing them to other bands.......they're are plenty of cover bands on TH-cam and this is Not one of them!! I would be offended if someone told you sound like or are just like some other band. This band is so passionate and commited to be the best and I think they are. They have thier own style and personality and are like no other band. Led Zepplin, Deep Purple, ZZ Top, Metallica, Judas Priest can't be compared to anybody else.......
It's a crime that this music video does not have 100+ million views. Totally amazing talent from these beautifully presented young ladies. I've been listening to rock music since the 1970s and have seen Deep Purple, Led Zep, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, RHCP and many other iconic rock bands live, but this live performance just blew me away. Good luck in the USA. I hope you play in the UK again in the future.
I agree. Various nostalgic melodies endlessly and seamlessly change shape, making it feel like a story. The lyrics are also positive and wonderful.

This is my 1st listen to Lovebites. the drummer looks sweet and innocent but she went at those drums like a serial killer on coke fueled murderous rampage. The singer gave me Dio vibes and guitars were a cross between Metallica and Dreamtheater.

These ladies are truly the Titans of Metal. Not only have they taken everything I love from music with their influences of bands that I love, they have made it their own and surpassed all their predecessors imo. Absolutely my favorite band and I can only feel grateful for finding them.
As I often tell my friend they are not a Metal band no they are a TITANIUM band that is head and shoulder over so many more especially LIVE, there are but a few bands LIVE that can stand on this band's stage and even then likely in the shadows.

Don't be ridiculous.They have done 3 albums. Classic metal artists such as Iron Maiden and Metallica were every bit, as good as them, but for about 8 albums straight.Then they still had a few other Albums since, of very high quality, as well. Love bites still have a long way to go

With COVID still spreading rampantly, also in Japan, is hitting hard on everybody.
For musicians, not being able to tour or even hold shows locally, it must be hitting very hard on them.
I hope that they are going to be able to hold on tight and come back soon.
@@SkipEtchells It's unclear exactly why she left. Both her statement and band's were left somewhat vague. It doesn't sound like they parted on bad terms or anything like that. But if they had wanted to give a more specific public reason, it would have been stated in one of the statements.
Like Daniel said above, it's probably best not to make any assumptions about why she left. She felt it was the right decision and I respect her decision to move on. Regardless, I think the band has a very bright future. :)

This is the song and video that got me into LOVEBITES when it showed up on my TH-cam feed back in mid January. Two days later I ordered Awakening from Abyss, Clockwork Immortality, Electric Pentagram, The Best of 2017-2021 and Heavy Metal Never Dies.

That’s why 9.5 out of 10 new bands I’ve started listening to in the last 19 months have at least one woman playing or singing. I love their contribution to the metal scene which has previously turned really grim and sterile to me (only a handful of exceptions and all have at least 30 years of trajectory)

Thanks, gents, I mean it. Since the flood of 2021 that destroyed my house (and this is NOT a joke), I no longer buy physical media - I only buy stuff that I can store "in the cloud". That's what 6.5 meters of a river in your kitchen do to you, trust me on this one... Other than that, I meanwhile learned that I've been living under a rock and that these marvelous artists have been visiting Europe. I'll keep a closer eye on their tour dates from now on. I really would love to see them live. 🤘
I seriously believe that they knew we all needed this so the healing can begin with ease, as we watch with amazement and awe. As one wolfpack member puts it, it is bittersweet watching this but so wonderful to see Miho for the last time. I have always loved this song and I too have wished they would post it and by the mercies of God, they delivered to us a glorious gift. May the path of Miho be what it needs to be as she collects herself from whatever is ailing her, know this the vast majority are with you always and forever. I personally will constantly pray for you Miho, you brought us many years of great music and I love you for it, yes we are sad that you will no longer be jammin for us but we hope the very best for you.

I am also sad Miho left, but I wish her nothing but the best for her future... especially being healthy physically and spiritually.
I am also eternally thankfull Miho and Haruna putting this band together. The music these 5 awesome artist created will stand the test of time... whether there is an encore or not.
That mid song guitarr solo gives me the samee spinee tingling sensation as Dragonforce does, awesome work
These metal goddesses never stop to deliver, their technical skills blend perfectly with their graceful appeareance. I will miss Miho, tho, I wish her the best, Lovebites will be fine, Japan is a powerhouse of talented musicians.

As many commentators have rightfully pointed out, Haruna's drumming is just insanely good. The speed, the precision, the creativity, constantly using all those drums and cymbals on her kit... and yet, what strikes me every time I hear her play is how there never seems to be even ONE superfluous note in her drumming, nor any missing. Despite all the craziness that's going on, it always leaves me feeling that every single note she hits just NEEDS to be exactly where she puts it, just because the music demands it that way. No exaggeration, no showing off ... super impressive!
Haruna is a beast of a drummer. Size-wise (4' 9"), best in metal imho. 🤘

OMG, these girls are really setting the world on fire and they are phenomenal musicians. Sad seeing Miho on a Lovebites video for the last time. I thank her for founding the best band on earth. The rest of the girls must continue with their musical journey because they still have so much to offer. I really really appreciate the upload of this video.

It's so interesting to see culture differences in how the crowd reacts in different states and countries. I wouldve been " WHOOOOOOO" at the top of my lungs after each song lol
This performance was during Covid and held under strict restrictions. Cheering and moving around was forbidden. At the same time in my country (Germany) no concerts were allowed at all …
The band and the audience actually were very happy to make this happen.

@@disgenix alot of these comments tell me most don't know wtf they are talking about. So many bands ahead of Lovebites in terms of technical skills and style. Love this band but they are not ahead of the world 10 years. They just took past 80s influences and made it their own.
Periphery, Haken, Animals As Leaders, Polyphia, Meshuggah, Gojira are all bands that were ahead of their time when they came out.

I have been listening to this type of music for decades and can tell you for sure; these ladies are the BEST power metal band on the f'n planet, hands down, no contest, drop mic...
