    I thought this was interesting. Cool to see what you are managing and how you make decisions.

    ❤ Nice video Nathan, bet your wife was not TOO happy about the outcome of the last SECOND LOSS to OHIO ST when they scored the TD with 1 second left on the clock ⌚⏰ but , like they say, don't put yourself in that tight position in the 1st place and you wouldn't have to worry about it, RIGHT 🤣😂🤣🏈🏈 CYA NEXT TIME 🚜🚜😎✌️👍

    You should really move that crossing over 70' so that you can cross back and forth without folding your spray boom.

    Good show this morning. Don't denigrate yourself or your shows. This was good. Shows planning and forethought.

      Like the crop scouting... It's real. Too many YT farmers are becoming company shills "look at the new stuff we got today"

    Ps I would add a main "On tile lines But " I would keep current ones & tie them in together ! "I would add 6" mains" ps... Faster Flow !

      We put in a 12" main and all the existing tile are getting tied into it.

    Maybe I missed it in the earlier videos but have you explained why adding a main is better than just letting each lateral drain into the ditch?
    Any thoughts of getting the drone up to see if you can see differences in your source trials?

    Nathan do you own any of the farm equipment?

    • @BorderViewFarms
      @BorderViewFarms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We own all of our equipment, or do you mean me personally? Our operation is set up as a C-Crop and I own stock in the company.

      @@BorderViewFarms I have always operated as a sole proprietor 3 years after college. 1/3 my money 1/3 borrowed from the corp 1/3 a signatory note from a bank and then from JD credit. I rented on % of crop the farmland from the C corp in '73 my parents owned. I gained control in 1980 It took 30 years for my wife & I to buy most of the shares. The rest will be given to our kids by my brother. My mother slowly gifted to my brother and sisters and mine to my son and daughter.
      The problem with a Corp is all the deferred taxes because I retained the income and bought public traded stocks and land and no wages. Now I take money and pay about 50% in taxes.

    How do you know that the good stalk was not planted in 2 inch in moisture and the bad stalk was planted not in moisture

    • @BorderViewFarms
      @BorderViewFarms  ปีที่แล้ว

      We were not lacking moisture when that corn was planted. I don't know what cause the late emerger at this point.
