What if Sukuna's true ability was simply using his own soul as a weapon, it explains how no one but gojo can see the attacks of slash and dismantle since it has been confirmed that he can see the soul. It also explains how yuji was able to attack the soul with his divergent fist and have a subconscious understanding of it to the point that he could land hits directed towards it. But that's just my head cannon at the moment

It has been mentioned before that Sakuna genuinely enjoys a good fight, and since he might not get another chance like this, he wants to go all out against Gojo. therefore he kept his head intact.

I know that both Sukuna and Mahoraga have similar CT but there is a huge difference between CT adaptability speed and potency level Sukuna needed Mahoraga only to know how to counter his limitless (ultimate defence) and his domain expansion, he was unable to use his CT if he using Megumi CT at the time or if he was using domain amplification meantime, he simply pushed at the corner he needed Mohoraga to adapt to Gojo CT, that is why he was intentionally lowing self to get hit in some cases not all of them. He couldn't use his CT he won't be able to use Megumi CT at the same time, same with the domain amplification if he did switch CT he would have to repeat everything on how to adapt to Gojo's limitless it would have made no difference even if it is four arms Sunkuna he still needed Morahorag in the fight, I hope you people understand why gojo was very desperate was killing Mahoraga as quick as possible but it was too late in the end, so yeah GG.

4:48, I think its still a stretch, Gojo only survived Toji because the areas he was hit in wouldn't immediately kill him (including the brain I believe). When he was cut in half, most of his immediate vital organs were severed, and most importantly his spinal cord, the one chance he has at living is the fact that he had a rendezvous with his friends in heaven, maybe that means his brain is still active enough to activate his already dwindling reversed cursed technique.
Severing the spinal cord doesn’t kill you immediately however the cuts that toji inflicted definitely punctured his lungs, aorta, stomach intestines and what not 😂. Toji’s wounds were definitely more serious.

I know what will happen either sukuna or genjaku will take gojos body after he uses rct to come back to life. That's explicitly why he was not struck in the head. Sukuna and kenjaku are genius level planners. They know how rct works better than everyone. We did not see gojo res the first time more than likely because he needed to build his strength back. If he were to res on the battlefield he would be weakened enough for either of him to take his body.

I think Sukuna WANTS Gojo to comeback, after all, he should definitely know that cutting the head is the only way to prevent RCT, Sukuna enjoys a good fight and acknowledges the strong and he knows that there’s no one else that can challenge him after Gojo’s loss.
CE comes from the gut which feeds to the brain for RCT. Sukuna essentially cut off the source of CE from Gojo. Only hope is when his lower torso fell, it fell close enough to create a link, but reaaaaaally unlikely.

Its probably because of Yujis body, we already know that Mommyjaku did some stuff to it to make it "the perfect vessel". Even Shoko couldnt bring Yuji back, its either that or Yujis body having 2 souls. Nanami also said that they cant get him back to Shoko when he was half dead because its too late. Doubt Gojo can do something like that to himself when his body isnt modified.
