I like the speed and efficiency of this technique, but I have not had the best luck sewing blocks together as the tube method results in straight edges of the block being on the bias grain of the fabric. I suppose it might work better for quilters who regularly use spray starch, which I don't use.

Thank you! I’m a new quilter, after you make the half square triangle will I need to square up the block?
Thank you for watching! 🌻 Yes it is good practice to square them up. I use my Clearly Slotted Trimmer ruler to square them up.
