I thought it was just common sense that if you are at all capable of executing a decent counterattack, then you obviously go for it. But if a ball comes at me super fast at an awkward location, then my counterattack is going to be dogshit, so I'll settle for a reset. I know this just needs to be addressed by improving my countering abilities in those awkward areas - mostly my two-handed backhand mechanics at the net, as well as better timing when I shift to the left upon reading the incoming speedup (I tend to move too early).
In Dream Breakers you should always play your best players in order. The top 2 players will play 60% of the points by the time you get to 40 points at which point the DB is likely over.
I’m with you Jimmy. I will cheer on the other team just to make Ryan Harwood shut up on the sidelines. I love Zane and Humberg, but the owners of their team are super effing annoying and their cringe cheering bs.
In MLP you cannot call a ball in then challenge it. They should just give teams more challenges especially that they now get the review video so quickly.
That’s the rule in PPA’s but not in MLP based on my reading of the MLP rule book. In MLP the players can’t even ask the referee if they saw it in or out. If they don’t call it out their presumed call is in and they cannot challenge their call. I don’t know why they don’t have the same standard in both.
The ball IS touching the line when it’s not that far over. We just can’t see the compression very clearly without ultra high frame rate cameras. The rule should probably be if 33% of the ball is over the line, you can presume the bottom of the ball is touching the line due to compression.
@@adamheath4599 not according to their slow motion footage at least. Their ultra high frame rate cameras showed significant compression on impact with the paddle. And that most balls hitting the ground compress to the point where an amount of ball the size of a golf ball is touching the ground.
@@adamheath4599 I mean, they showed the footage. You can just go off of what you see in the video. Minimal is a subjective term, maybe compressing to the point where a golf ball amount is touching the ground is “minimal” to him.
I just moved from Mt. Prospect, all the way to Vernal UT. by choice. go Flaming Gorge. ditto about the FIVE. all the noise is a turn off.. I stopped watching Rohrerbacker(?) I get a kick out of Tyler being so uncomfortable that he might be perceived as aligned with Jimmy. Is that a people pleasing thing? Ty you have been playing great and it is fun to watch you, keep it up.
Finally get the great replay for challenges and then they make a 25 percent rule ? One step forward 10 steps backwards! Why pay the money for great replay and then make stupid rules for it!
Pickleballs are the same size. When a pickleball is 25% over the line, the ball is still NOT touching the line. It is out. BUT there is a point where a certain percentage of the ball will make the ball also touch the line and be in. What is that percentage? 30%? 33%? If PPA wants to utilize a percentage of the ball as the line call decision, find out what that percentage point is that makes the ball touch the line and use that. But my opinion is refs should eyeball whether or not they see a gap in the video replay. If they can't tell, then call the ball in and move on.
I don’t think any team would drop H. As cocky as he is, he backs it up. He has improved tremendously and plays more of the alpha role now. They would be foolish to drop H.
Will howes serving overheads lol! I’m dying. You guys are fantastic
That was hilarious, Tyler made that joke. Overheads haha 😆
Kicking Leigh off the bench is a hilarious move
NYC MLP was awesome. We were there Saturday and it was packed. VIP was great and so was the food.

I think for teams without points they are seated based on the day and time they become fully registered and paid team.
St. Louis dropping Hayden is a Klossian take. 😂

love the KOTC pod and TH-cam channel - just curious about the 2 minute intro countdown and if it's a form or function addition.
I always skip the intro lol

You can’t challenge your own call. But can’t you not make a call at all, and then the ref makes a “presumed in” call, and then you challenge the ref?

According to pickleball studio, there’s very little if at all compression on shots that aren’t an overhead.

@@douglasmurdoch7247 are you sure? Cause Chris literally said there was minimal compression on his podcast after he filmed/released that footage.

Make the ball rule 1/3 instead of 1/4

I’ll bet they drop Zane - should pick up Pablo to have a lefty to team with Mari. Why have ALW play with Will if they are going to drop him?
I would drop Mari and pick up Glozman when DC drops her. Unless shock drop Big H, then I’d drop Zane for him.
I doubt they drop H. I think no matter how well Fahey plays the rest of the year, it is going to be her.
