Left stick up, right stick down at the same time, or vice versa You can also flick alternating for a lot of double stars at once (e.g left stick up, right stick down for one star, then left stick down, right stick up for the next and alternate from there) I know it helps me not fumble a lot of double stars when they appear in succession
