Edgemont Secant Compression Ring - Doublestar Drilling's Liebherr LB 28

Doublestar Drilling was contracted to design, install and excavate a pit to allow access for a tunnel boring machine (TBM), which is used in horizontal boring or trenchless construction methods. The most economical shoring design was a compression ring 10.7 meters in diameter x 24.0 meters deep and consisted of 51 - 900mm diameter cased secant piles. The project was completed on time and on budget.
