    Happy to answer questions on this unit if you’re thinking of buying one. I hope my video helps you to decide yes/no. I bought this unit myself with my own money, the unit wasn’t provided for test purposes and I haven’t received any reimbursement for making this video.

    Which means Quick wash? The arrows or the arrows with glass?

    Ordered one of these today from AO, coming tomorrow. It looks better laid out than the pile of cr4p Bosch that has just died after 6 temperamental years. I don't expect more than 3-4 years use of a dishwasher that is used daily, it's a disposable item. Ultimately, it's a dishwasher, and they all do the same thing roughly. at 7:39 those are less deep for shorter cutlery, eg teaspoons. Hygiene is a high temp finish for things like chopping boards. Given electricity is more expensive than gold bullion, it's sensible not to have the feature on permanently.

      Thanks for watching and commenting! I hope you found my video useful. I run mine on the ECO setting and that uses 1.03kw per run (should be about £0.55). Everything comes out clean and dry, so no need for any of the other programmes. What I do occasionally miss is a rinse function, which my old whirlpool washer did have. Some of the more expensive Samsung models do the rinse mode.

    Thank you for this helpful video, but I still have some questions and I will really appreciate it if you could answer them: is there a way to dry the dishes with this model? You can add a rinse aid, but I live in a country where they don't sell any of that not even the dishwashing soap itself..so I use a normal dish soap with baking soda.. 1)can I replace the rinse aid with something else? 2) how to dry the dishes ?
    Thank you

      @@foreverbulletproofbangtan4808 1) I have no idea about replacing the rinse aid with something else, but you can of course use all-in-one tablets and just leave the rinse aid out. 2) Most of the programmes dry the dishes, so you don’t need to dry them once the cycle is completed. Hope that helps!

    We've had two German branded dishwashers over the last 12 years both of which were pretty expensive to buy. The Ist one lasted 7 years and the 2nd one lasted 5 years. Not good considering the size of the price premium that you have to swallow. Yes the cabinets were better made than the usual dishwashers but they are no different in their longevity. Our last one ended up with a broken handle after 3 years and the control panel kept falling away from the main door until I Gorilla glued it on. So I am hoping that this Samsung dishwasher will bring a refreshing change and give good value for money. Fingers crossed.

      This one is proving to be OK for us so far. Only thing I think I would consider is if you were to go for the higher model as it can hold more stuff and also does a rinse cycle, which is useful if you’re not running the thing every day. We run ours every day, Eco mode and it uses just over 1kwh per run.

    That was an interesting review. I've looked at buying this model. I'm not sure I want it with no pre-rinse though.

    • @daveys
      @daveys  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Tony!! Regarding the lack of pre-rinse, It depends if you can fill a whole dishwasher in one go. We fill ours once a day, so there’s rarely more than a few hours with dirty items in it. Not had any problems with it being smelly or failing to clean things.

    Is it effective for oily pots? And does it clean cookers well? Thanks is advance

    • @daveys
      @daveys  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@fatimatravels2471 - I suppose that it depends on how dirty and oily the pots are, how good the detergent is and what cycle you use. We use our washer on the eco cycle every day - we wash our wok in there and any other pans we use. I’d say that if a pan is absolutely caked with cooking mess, a quick scrub in the sink with cold water then dump it in the dishwasher usually works for us.

    Hello I just bought this dishwasher and would like to install it myself. Any tips on the water connections?

    • @daveys
      @daveys  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ailchat - It’s a standard connector to the cold water, so it’s not too complex as long as you have the relevant pipework already. If not, better to ask someone to help you. Leaks make a right old mess.

    • @daveys
      @daveys  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’ll always power up in the mode that gives best wash and dry vs energy consumption. If you use tablets, push the tablet button (bottom right) and then start. That’ll keep you going until you need something more complex.

    Does it dry properly, some users say it doesnt dry properly. How can we be sure of this?

    • @daveys
      @daveys  ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine dries fine, although sometimes you may find that not everything is completely dry. I’ve never had a dishwasher that completely dried everything 100% of the time. What I would say is that some of the newer (and more costly) designs open the door and then air dry the inside and I believe that is a better idea than used here.

    • @daveys
      @daveys  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine doesn’t auto open, and I’ve never seen anything to suggest that it should. I’ve seen Bosch models that do that but not on this one. Maybe the seller got mixed up.

      The answer is “yes”. We had two power cuts last night, one was a complete outage for several minutes and the other was a giant sag that set alarms and similar off. The machine resumed after the first one and continued straight through the second one. Apologies for the delay in answering.

    Hi, I've just bought the same dishwasher. I don't know how to make it dry the items. Always I take them out quite wet. Any advice?

    • @daveys
      @daveys  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Laura, I just use the eco setting and apart from a little bit of water in the lip of sandwich boxes and the like, our dishes always come out bone dry. I think the eco setting is pretty much the lowest power and water setting too.
