@@MarkDumbleton, it would be a privilege to explore and photograph the Berg with you one day… Hopefully we get to do a few more trips together in the future 😎💪🏻
Enjoyed the video, thank you. This comes from a guy that lives in eastern Oregon that has 2-3' of snow in his yard for five months of the year. Keep up the great work.
Hi Mark, what amazing is your video! Could you telle me when precisely you where in drakensberg? I'm going there within a few days and I'm trying to define which clothes to wear... Thank's in advance for your answer and starving for your next videos !
Thanks for watching and for the comment. I was there on 20 July this year. There won’t be any snow as it melts very quickly, but it will still be pretty chilly, especially if the wind is blowing.
Hi, I use a Thermaresr Neo Air X-Lite sleeping pad, with a Rab Neutrino 600 Sleeping bag. I also use thermal liner in the sleeping bad as well as a SOL Bivy bag to keep the sleeping bag dry. In snow, the tent gets heavy with condensation so you absolutely must keep your sleeping bag dry.
One word, "stunning". What an adventure.
Thanks for watching Muji! It was an awesome adventure

Hi Mark. Your patience paid off with some wonderful landscape images. You should now qualify for a bumper sticker that reads 'Ski South Africa' 🦁🦁

@@MarkDumbleton Always lekker to see local content. Was this filmed around the same time JHB has "snow" ?
It was filmed last weekend, so it’s very fresh. That JHB snow was amazing right? Haven’t seen snow like that in JHB for a very long time.

What sleeping bag and sleeping mat did you use?

@@MarkDumbleton thanks. I assume you had to import the sleeping bag?
I did, got it from a shop in the UK. Amazing quality!
