- The trigger is probably going to be one of the first things you upgrade on your AR15, and luckily enough its very easy to do! In this video, Joe Marler shows you how to remove your old trigger assembly and install a new one.

You make it look so easy. My first time doing it years and years ago, was without a video. Yeah…. That was fun.
My M4A1 just came in, and I have a SSA-E trigger to put in it. But I must admit, the stock DD trigger is pretty nice for a stock trigger, by far the best stock trigger I have felt over the years. Little creep and a crisp break, maybe 5 lbs or so.
Always good instruction, Joe! I really enjoyed the armorer's course. How about a tutorial on how to drill that third hole? :)

Great video on how to replace trigger! I just ordered a Geissele SSA trigger that I will be installing on a DD M4A1 Mil Spec +. My question is should I use the Geissele pins that come with the new trigger or should I reuse the factory pins?
@Danieldefense this video shows the way I've always done this. My DDM4V7 pistol trigger will not come out with the ambi safety installed? I'm curious if anything changed. The trigger came out by loosening the grip like a lot of ARs.
Ask the experts at Daniel Defense, is it necessary to remove the safety to change the trigger? or not ?
I replaced my DDM4V7 trigger with a Geissele SD-E. However the Geissele pins (including their slave pin) would not fit in the holes, even when banging on them hard with a mallet. So I just re-used the factory pins. My gun has the Deep Woods Cerakote, I don't know if that was the issue or not but the factory pins went back in easily.

how did the trigger just come right out after removing the pin??? mine is stuck on the safety rod and there is now angle to maneuver it out.

Joe literally told you what a fire control group consisted of in the beginning of the video... people who can't hear, remember or comprehend what they are watching have no business installing a roll of toilet paper on a toilet paper holder than a fire control group in a gun.

It is an upgrade,not necessary at all.

So a rifle that costs as much as a DD should not have to upgrade the trigger. Just saying.
Yeah I agree, that’s why I decided to not order a full DD but just the upper because that’s all that really does anything, and I built a better lower out with a larue two stage
Which one should they put in? A single stage or two stage? From Geissele or CMC? Curved or flat?
That is why, they would have to increase cost and people will complain it isn’t the one they prefer.
I think they still put geissele triggers in their pro. But it costs more so. Ur paying for quality and they stand behind there product
