Guide to Nakasendo | Day 1 of 5-Day Hike: Magome to Tsumago Post Town | Highlight of Japan Adventure

After two days in Kyoto we headed into Nagano and then towards Magome where we started of Nakasendo Trail.
On the first day we walked toTsumago.

We used Oku Japan, and they booked it for us. www.okujapan.com/. Oku Japan is a local Japanese travel company, not a mega brand, that collaborates with local communities to support their villages. Additionally, Oku provides maps and directions, which are super helpful despite the trail being well-marked.
