As always, a very informative video. I am looking forward to these new Reusable Actions and Integrations. But I have one question. Will this also be available for the free plan? Or do you need to have a paid plan?
Reusable actions are available for free plan. SOME of the integrations will be available for free, but not most.
Great video, Robert 👍🏼 A quick question: Glide Apps vs Glide Pagres. It seems that their Apps product is becoming increasingly more redundant. What's you're opinion on the two compared to each other? Pages seems to work just as good for mobile as Apps do, and there's a lot more functionality for Pages. Looking forward to hearing your 5 cents on this matter ✌🏼
Only build in Glide “pages “moving forward. It will become the new Glide apps and existing Glide apps will soon become glide classic apps, which Glide will no longer support or upgrade.
Robert, thanks for this video and insight as to using pages more for future work. It sounds like the glide app’s are going to be mothballed. Look forward to a video about the sms and push notification integrations. Will you be doing anything on these soon? Mitch!
This i great, but the Location's component has no "Required" options anymore... so is there any way to "force" an app to get the current's location ?
I guess not. Something to request to the Glide Team for sure.
Hi Robert there's an action called 'Track Once' listed against Radar. Do you know what this does it isn't listed on the docs?
It writes the users location to the Radar service and optionally allows you to write their coordinates somewhere

8:08 I have a result field with chatGPT result for searching for locations it shows location address and GPS. It's mixed with a bunch of text. For the life of me, when I add map and put map source to result, I get nothing. Probably because all the text, even though GPS is in there. Dunno what Im doing wrong plz help. Also free only for rn so no radar or google map geocode. Trying free api but really just have no clue what I'm doing where are more resources at for this? I wouldn't even care if it's unresolved as a GPS pin on a map just anything visual. You really need a sub to glide to get a resulted address to pop up as a pin on a map below in a box?
Glide map can read address OR GPS but not both combined. Sounds like the ChatGPT prompt needs to be refined so that it ONLY outputs an address.
Is this tool only available in the pro plan?
Radar is Pro Plan only I think, yes.
