We only used to venture to Seven Islands Pond occasionally when I was a kid in the early 60’s. I lived Croydon side of Mitcham Common. We used to regularly play around the other pond that we called One Island. No idea if any of that exists now - heard A J Bulls had landfilled a lot of the common. Not been back for maybe 55 years
