Jennie usually doesn't dance when it comes to her part. She likes to dance freestyle if its her part.
yes, that's why they said that she's lazy but I think it's not freestyle also, she's more focus with her voice so that she can give her best in singing she will not dance or just move freely. but it's okay, she still gives a great performance at the end with her powerful voice, and that's her strength. also, her energy is great. but it will be a great performance if she will also give her best in dancing while singing or rapping, like what she used before. Because, honestly, sometimes it's unfair with the other members giving all their best in dancing while singing and rapping. no hate, just an honest statement from my observations.
@@chrln955 YG artists doesn't stick to choreo. They are known for that. YG was known that when perfoming they dance freely. And fans like it.
And when it comes to their parts they have the choice to what to do. So there's no unfair in that. 😬

c c I love the free style that jennie do in concert/big stage performance. When she sang her part, she seems more focus on singing and just move her body to the groove and and it's interesting to watch because it's not always the same. They can stick the regular performance to dance practice and music show but when it's concert, we love something different to spice the audience 😍

Okay. Let's get this straight, you're highkey an amazing reactor. The way you pay attention to details both visual and audio is so on point. You don't sound too critical but you don't easily brush off the tiny details also which SO GREAT for a reactor. And you're just straight up genuine. That's hard to find in reactors these days. Yeah. Jennie has a powerful voice. Rosé's vocal always impress me still she can go from her nose voice to deep voice and manage them very well. Jisoo has a natural deep voice and is the most stable. Lisa is very lit, mixed with her dancing skills, she got swag.

Tidbit: YG artists (Blackpink’s company) are known to be always performing live and never do lip sync. It’s like a tradition for them. But some people actually always accused blackpink do lipsyncs lol
It's because they use a backtrack like many kpop artists. They're just being attacked because they're the hottest thing right now.

in regards with the thing that you said about Jennie's choreography at 5:16, the reason why Jennie wasn't moving during one part and was later is because that is part of the choreography and the girls all do that part like in a row. I'm not really good at explaining it but it has to do with 4:56 and how they go down the line. If you watch a different live performance of this song you see that the choreography for that part of the song is the same as from this video. but I do agree with you that it could seem that way.
Most of korean idols like them trained for 6 years or more just to learned to sing and dance and as well as learned other language such as japanese chinese and english. They started at the age 13-16

Blackpink did really well at coachella, I’m really impressed with them. I like the live version even better than studio. The ending is the bessst!
I recommend watching NCT’s new song Wakey Wakey MV and live, they’re really talented too and super in sync, they have an amazing group of dancers and singers. They have a big group though so it can be intimidating.
If you’re interested in BTS still I recommend Blood Sweat & Tears MV + Live combo, the song is really unique and intriguing, really artsy too.
Or, for their hardest choreography and best ever live performance, watch IDOL MV+MMA 2018 performance. They perform fake love and idol back to back with a pre recorded segment break, it’s honestly breathtaking, but you can find idol alone too. They performed it very well on the jimmy Fallon show too!
OR if you want another girl group Mamamoo is a one to definitely check out. My personal favorite is Egoistic, and their live performances are really cool too.

rosé's voice wasn't at her best than usual , I know her voice can be alot better !!! among all the members her parts strain her vocal cords the most i'd say whereas Jisoo Jennie and lisa were stable throughout since their lines aren't as difficult as rosé's.
Well jisoo sings the same lines as Rose with the same notes, they're probably just super tired since dancing and singing is hard.
Actually, Jennie's part at the first verse is also hard to sing. I saw a lot of comments(from multiple videos) from those who take vocal classes who's also having a hard time singing her part. If you'll notice, she don't even have time to breathe in her verse. Straight 14 seconds. And also if you hear those sudden changes in the pitch of her voice in words like "test", "yes" etc, it will also take your breath more. Btw, Jisoo mostly have the same verse with Rosé though in some parts so you can't just say like Rosé have the most difficult part. But I agree that it's maybe just Rosé wasn't at her usual best but she can do better.

From my own observation of their stage performances, I noticed Jennie usually don’t do their stage choreography and just try to cover it with her charisma and freestyle dancing. Also, among the girls, despite being the main vocalist, Rosé tends to get flat on their lives. The two has the most lines tho plus choreography so I think they often run out of breath in the middle of the song that’s why. I think you will also notice these in their other live performances. This doesn’t change the fact that all these girls are so talented tho and deserve the recognition they’re getting. They really did great in their coachella performances like no one can pull it off like they did for me. 🙂
Lisa is the BEST dancer of the group which is why she is the MAIN DANCER of Blackpink. You should react to her dance cover of Taki Taki and I Like It by Cardi B. She choreographed the I Like It dance cover. In Taki Taki she danced with Kiel Tutin one of the choreographers of Blackpink, also react to her/Lisa solo performance of SWALLA she is sooo damn hot and really good when she dances with all the sexy and fierce facial expressions. Well Rosè is the MAIN VOCALIST so she's thr best singer of the group check out her singing performances.
Actually the part you thought Jennie forgot her routine was a part of the choreography, they were doing like the accordion style, in this case, from person to the right (Jisoo) until the person to the farthest left (Jennie). Hope this clears it all out.
